Hello,
And welcome to this week's meditation on connecting with your why.
I encourage you to do this meditation seated or lying down on your back.
And so as you feel ready,
The invitation is to find yourself in whatever comfortable position you would like to meditate and breathe in today.
And once you have made yourself comfortable in these first few moments,
I invite you to start to bring your awareness to the parts of the body that are making contact with the physical support underneath you.
And if you can,
Seeing if you can allow yourself to begin to maybe soften into those points of contact,
Even if it's just one or 2% here to start.
And then slowly,
As you feel ready,
I'll invite you to start to bring your awareness to the breath,
Watching it flow in and flow out.
And as you feel ready,
Beginning to extend the inhale and extend the exhales,
Really inviting everything to slow down,
Inviting the mind to slow down,
Be inviting the heart to slow down.
And as you do that,
Maybe allowing life to slow down.
These slower and more spacious places that we can begin to ask ourselves deep questions that are connected to our souls,
Connected to our hearts.
Practice setting an intention to get clear on your why,
To ask yourself this deep question,
Perhaps allowing that intention to be planted in your heart like a little seed.
You can just give it up.
Allow this seed to connect and make itself super crystal clear to you on its own.
Perfect.
Ready,
I'll invite you to breathing in and out of the mouth,
Sending that first breath into the belly,
That second breath into the heart.
And on the exhale,
Belly,
Chest,
Maybe allowing the breath to,
And instead seeing if you can allow the breath to bring you into the place where your why lives,
This deeper meaning,
This deeper purpose,
And always be understood and articulated with the mind that lives within our being,
That lives within our soul.
So as you connect with your breath,
As you continue with that bridge to this deeper meaning in the belly,
Chest,
As you continue to breathe here,
Noticing the sensations in the body,
Noticing any emotions or feelings or thoughts or memories that might start to arise.
Perhaps you could take a moment to welcome,
Welcoming it all.
And maybe you can do this by saying the words,
I feel you.
As you begin to create a place of care and curiosity and openness,
It can start to create a sense of safety,
A sense of safety that your why can start to make itself more clear.
Continuing to stay with yourself,
Staying with the breath,
Belly,
Chest,
Chest.
Noticing if your why has started to become more clear.
Why do you wish to heal?
The reason you continue waking up and trying again each day.
Why begins to make itself more known and more clear.
Noticing and as you feel ready,
Releasing and staying.
Essence and the vibration of your why to grow and expand.
Life throws you a curveball when life gets hard,
But you know that you can come to this vibration,
This reason.
As you feel ready,
Slowly beginning to wiggle the toes,
The fingertips,
Taking your time,
Coming out of your practice.
Maybe fluttering the eyes open and as you do,
Taking a look around your space,
Noticing what you see,
Noticing what you might hear in the background and as you conclude this practice,
I invite you to spend a few moments journaling about what you discovered and if it resonates with you,
Perhaps you could create a picture or a mantra or some sort of symbol that you can create and place somewhere that you'll see every day.
I will encourage you to keep going,
To keep trying,
To continue walking down your path and as you do that,
I'll be right here with you doing the same.
