Navigating life today can be incredibly challenging. The daily demands, stressors, and societal pressures often weigh heavy, even on the strongest individuals. Many of us find ourselves pushing relentlessly to be better, while others shut down, feeling numb and asking, "What's the point?" Sometimes, all we need is a reassuring voice telling us it's going to be okay. This practice is a beautiful way to support yourself, to re-parent, and soothe the parts of you that just need to hear that it's okay. Consistently engaging in this practice can significantly improve your mindset and teach your nervous system to find calm amidst life's stressors.

Hello and welcome to this week's meditation.

Today we'll be meditating on feeling okay.

It's incredibly challenging to be a human in this day and age and ever more so at the time that this is being recorded and so this meditation is intended to be a level of reassurance to your nervous system to the body to your heart so as you feel ready I'll invite you to find a comfortable position to meditate in and I recommend doing this lying down on your back if you're able to that way you can really allow yourself to be held supported and nurtured nurtured by that physical support underneath you which can also be a representation of the support of mother earth so once you find yourself in that comfortable position I'll invite you to slowly start to bring your awareness to the parts of the body that are making contact with that physical support underneath you and right away seeing if you can allow yourself to relax into those points of contact even if it's just a little bit here and as you start to relax into that physical support underneath you starting to maybe open up your mind to the idea that this physical support is simply a representation of the unseen support of mother earth the great mother that provides us with sunshine air water this infinite well of resources perhaps you can start to sense mother earth holding you loving you nurturing you maybe you can start to sense her energy rising to meet you with each breath in and each breath out and maybe just the way that mother earth holds you and loves you loves you every single day perhaps you might also like to hold and love yourself and to do that I'll invite you to take your right hand across your chest and into your left armpit I'm noticing your right hand holding your heart you'll be taking a few breaths there noticing the chest rise as you inhale noticing it fall as you exhale and perhaps you might like to say the words I've got you heart I'm right here with you heart and noticing what happens inside as you either quietly or out loud say those words to yourself say those words to your heart and then as you feel ready I'll invite you to take your left hand to the outside of your right arm so now you've maybe got this nice hug around the upper part of your body of your body and if it feels okay I'll invite you to apply a little bit of pressure through the left hand and through the right hand a little bit of pressure to the outside of the arm and to the heart and perhaps you might like to say the words I've got you or I'm right here with you or maybe I know that times are hard right now and I'm going to be right here with you helping you get through those hard times and noticing what's happening inside or in the body as you repeat those words to yourself maybe there's a softening maybe there's a soft smile that comes to the face maybe there's just this sense that it's going to be okay and if there is any part of you that feels okay even if it's just one percent okay I'll invite you to bring your awareness to that part and to take a couple of deep breaths here in and out through the nose into this part of you that feels even just a little bit okay noticing if there is a certain color that you might sense here I'm going to be a shape or a texture maybe it's a subtle physical sensation whatever it is that you're noticing I invite you to take three to four deep breaths to whatever it is that you're noticing as you breathe and sit with this part of you that feels even just a little bit okay as you feel ready maybe giving yourself one more hug here squeezing the heart and the outside of the arm just a little bit more and then as you feel ready slowly releasing the hands placing them back down on either side slowly starting to bring your awareness back to that physical support underneath you back to the support of mother earth the great mother whose hold and who's nurturing and who's loving will continue to support you long after you have released the holding yourself and then seeing if you can allow yourself to relax into her into her support even if it's just a little bit more here maybe taking a full breath in a full breath out as you feel ready slowly opening the eyes coming back into your space taking a look around noticing what you see noticing what you hear in the background
