This meditation is designed to help you deeply connect with the layers of support that surround and nourish you—both seen and unseen. Healing and trauma recovery can often feel isolating and overwhelming, but you don’t have to walk this path alone. By grounding into the physical, earthly, and spiritual layers of support, you’ll create a foundation of resilience to carry with you on your journey. Begin each day rooted in this practice to strengthen your sense of safety, connection, and inner power as you heal. You are held, you are supported, and you are never alone.

Hello and welcome to today's practice.

For today's practice,

We'll be sensing and feeling into the layers of support that might be here for us in this moment.

As we are moving forward on our healing journeys,

Unlearning,

Repatterning,

Reparenting,

And evolving into who we truly are,

Into our wholeness and into our aliveness,

It can be really helpful to take these moments of reflection and connection to really sense and feel how supported we might feel.

And so that's what we'll be doing in our practice today.

As you feel ready in your right time and pace,

I invite you to make your way to whatever comfortable position you would like to meditate in today,

Whether that's seated,

Lying down,

Or maybe even standing.

And once you've made your way there,

Before you close your eyes,

Could you maybe take a moment to look around your space and notice what you see?

Maybe even rotating the head,

Rotating the neck,

Looking over your right shoulder,

And then maybe taking it over to the other side nice and slow,

Looking over to the left,

Looking over your left shoulder,

Maybe looking behind you,

Maybe coming back to center as you feel complete,

Taking in where you are in this time and in this place.

And you're welcome to keep the eyes open,

Maybe finding a soft gaze in front,

Or if you'd like,

You can maybe close down the eyes.

Either way,

Just slowly maybe making your way into a place of stillness.

And in this stillness,

I invite you here in these first few moments to notice that physical support underneath you,

Noticing the parts of the body that are making contact with this physical support,

Noticing this support holding you,

Noticing the parts of the body that are making contact with the support.

So maybe it's the feet,

Maybe it's the length of the spine,

Maybe the back of the head is being supported,

Maybe it's the length of the spine,

Maybe the back of the head is being supported,

Depending on which position you've chosen today.

And as you notice that physical support,

Seeing if you might be able to soften and relax into this physical support,

Even if it's just a little bit,

Here as we start.

Maybe noticing the body become a little bit heavier here,

Maybe noticing points of tension slowly beginning to soften and maybe open.

Maybe noticing yourself take a deeper breath here,

Maybe noticing the breath slowing down,

Maybe taking three to four deep breaths,

Sensing and noticing that physical support underneath you.

If this is feeling helpful for you,

You're welcome to stay here.

Otherwise,

Maybe you'd like to continue sensing and feeling into the additional layers of support that might be here for you in this moment.

So after noticing this physical support,

Perhaps you can allow this connection to this physical support connection to this physical support to also be a direct connection to the support of the Earth.

Maybe noticing this support as Mother Earth,

Mama Gaia,

Or maybe simply just Earth's energy.

This wondrous planet that provides us with air,

Water,

Sunshine.

Maybe you can sense and feel this energy from the Earth rising to meet you with each breath in and each breath out.

And maybe seeing what it would be like to soften and relax into the support of Mother Earth.

Perhaps maybe a visualization would be helpful for you here.

Maybe sensing into what it would be like to lie down on the grass on the perfect day with the perfect weather.

Maybe imagining your body making an imprint in the grass and maybe allowing that imprint to be a part of you.

Imprint to become a little heavier here.

And maybe taking another three to four deep,

Slow,

Mindful breaths here.

Noticing yourself lying in the support of the Earth.

Resting in the support of the Earth.

If you'd like,

You're welcome to stay here.

Otherwise,

Maybe moving on to sense into one last additional layer of support that might be here for you today.

So maybe as you connect with this support of the Earth,

You can also maybe start to tap into You can also maybe start to tap into this unseen support.

Maybe this is the support of your ancestors or angels or guides,

Animal totems or spirits.

Maybe it's none of those things.

None of those things.

But maybe you can start to sense into this greater intelligence that goes beyond what can be seen and explained with the eye and the mind.

Maybe it's what allows the sun to rise and set each day.

Maybe it's what allows the moon to move through its phases.

Maybe it's what allows the seasons to change without any effort or striving or pushing on our end.

And maybe you might be able to sense into this same intelligence,

Also moving through your body.

So this intelligence that allows the heart to beat and the lungs to breathe.

Again,

Without any effort or forcing or pushing on your end.

Seeing if you can sense into this unseen layer of support or intelligence.

Divinity.

And maybe seeing if there's any part of you that might be able to soften or relax even just a little bit more into that unseen support.

Faith and connection to something greater can be a wonderful tool for building our inner resilience,

Our inner resource.

And as we reach the end of our practice today,

What I'll invite you to do is to take one last moment to maybe sense into all three of these layers of support that we have explored today.

So this very physical support of maybe the floor or a chair or your bed.

And also maybe sensing into this earthly support of the grass,

The sun,

Of the air.

And then also maybe sensing into this unseen support of our ancestors,

Of any guides that might resonate with us.

Of this greater intelligence that moves through the earth and moves through our bodies.

Maybe taking three to four breaths here as you sense into all three of these layers of support.

And noticing what the experience of support is like in your body.

Without trying to analyze it or name it,

Explain it.

Seeing what it would be like to just simply experience it here,

Even if it's just for a moment.

And noticing how your body might respond as you take in these layers of support.

If you're noticing yourself feeling more grounded or settled,

Maybe taking a moment here to really enjoy that.

Taking note of all of the different layers of support that we have explored today.

What this experience of settling and grounding is like in the body.

Allowing it to integrate into the nervous system.

And in your right time and pace,

I invite you to slowly invite movement back into the body if you haven't yet already.

Wiggling the toes,

The fingertips.

Maybe taking a stretch,

Opening up the hips.

And then slowly beginning to flutter the eyes open,

Really taking your time here.

And as you open the eyes,

Maybe taking a look around and noticing what you see.

And maybe you can find yourself or notice yourself looking at the world through new eyes.

With this sense of support integrated into your body.

And if not,

That's okay too.

Just noticing what's here for you.

And whatever you have experienced or noticed today is absolutely welcome and perfect.

Nothing to get right here,

Nothing to get wrong.

Just an invitation,
