Alone.
And welcome to today's practice.
Today's practice is a somatic womb hang.
And during this time you will be guided to connect with and to simply be present with your will.
This isn't about changing anything that you might be experiencing in the womb.
But rather about connecting with the womb.
And staying open and curious about what she may want to share with you today,
If anything at all.
And if she doesn't share anything today,
That's perfectly okay.
Again,
Just really taking this time to build this connection,
To build this relationship with your womb.
And we'll do this in a very gentle and slow way.
Because the womb can sometimes carry a lot of emotions and stories and experiences.
And so as this can be sometimes a tender place,
I'll invite you to take a few extra moments setting yourself up.
Making sure that you're comfortable Maybe grabbing an extra pillow or a blanket or.
.
.
Perhaps you may want to do this lying down on your back.
It can also be helpful to have an eye mask or to maybe shut the door so that you can have this time to be with yourself without being disturbed or distracted by the outside world.
And so once you've taken the time to do that,
I'll invite you to slowly start getting settled.
And to take a moment here to simply arrive in this present moment,
In this present place and time.
And perhaps we could do that by taking a couple of breaths in and a few sighs out.
As you feel ready breathing in through the nose.
Audibly sighing out.
And another breath in through the nose.
Another audible sigh out.
Sigh And maybe one more breath in through the nose.
And an audible sigh out.
And then just returning to your natural breath in and out of the nose.
And taking a few moments here to first bring your awareness to the support underneath you.
Noticing the parts of the body that are making contact with the chair,
The bed,
Or the floor.
And seeing if you can begin softening and relaxing into these points of contact,
Even if it's just a little bit as we're getting started here.
As you bring your awareness to the physical support underneath you.
Starting to also maybe sense into the earthly support underneath.
Sensing into the support of gravity.
This invisible force that keeps us here on the earth.
Keeps us grounded and prevents us from floating away.
And as you start to sense into the force of gravity,
Also starting to maybe sense the support of the earth and your connection to the earth.
Perhaps you can sense the earth rising to meet you here with each breath in and each breath out.
And maybe seeing what it would be like to let the earth hold you in this moment.
As we slowly begin to make our way into the womb.
So in your right time and pace.
From this place of grounding and support.
Slowly starting to bring more of your wellness,
Your awareness to the belly.
To the world.
And it might feel nice to put a hand or two on the belly.
On the world.
And beginning to send more of your breath here.
Perhaps noticing the belly expand with each inhale.
And perhaps noticing the belly fall with each exhale.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
And if it feels helpful for you,
Maybe repeating these words quietly inside.
Whispering these words to your womb I feel you.
Or maybe.
.
.
I'm listening.
Or perhaps I'm right here Or maybe simply letting your womb know.
About your desire to connect with this part of you.
And as you begin to offer those words,
Noticing how The body in the womb may respond if at all.
And then staying here in the womb,
If that feels okay.
Maybe taking the next Four to five breaths here.
Really taking this time to breathe into the experience of your wounds.
Perhaps noticing any qualities or shapes.
Or maybe any colors that you may begin to sense here.
And I want to give you a few minutes now to to just be with your wounds.
And I'll be right here with you.
And I'll come back to check on you in a moment.
A few moments.
We'll slowly begin to close out this womb hang today.
And maybe taking a moment here to offer any final words to your wounds.
Maybe letting your womb know that you'll be back to reconnect again.
Maybe offering some gratitude for your womb.
And for all that the womb does.
The power and the magic that the womb holds.
And also maybe taking note of anything that stood out from this womb hang today.
Maybe any words or senses,
Memories.
And after we close this practice,
It might be helpful to write down the things that may have stood out to you.
And to also explore how you may want to integrate what you've learned here today in your life.
Into your self-care practices.
And so letting the womb know that it's time to go now.
And then slowly beginning to bring your awareness back to this present place and time.
Wiggling the toes.
The fingertips.
Maybe taking a big stretch.
Maybe rolling off onto your side if you were lying down on your back.
Taking your sweet sweet time to transition back into your day.
And also maybe taking the extra time to tend and care to anything that may have emerged in our practice today.
Thank you for making the time to slow down and to connect with the wisdom of your womb.
And thank you for taking the time to be here.
On this community.
This concludes our practice for today.
I look forward to connecting with you again soon.
