Settle onto your seat and get comfortable.
Starting with the body,
Arriving in the body.
Let your mind settle down into your physical form.
Feel the sensation of the seat beneath you or your cushion.
Focus your shoulders and back.
Feeling the muscles in your face relax.
And allow the breath to be natural,
Arriving with your breath.
Let breath breathe you.
Allow breath.
And arrive with the mind.
Let go of following after thoughts about the past.
And let go of the mind that anticipates the future.
It reaches into the future planning,
Worrying,
Anticipating.
Instead settle into this very present moment,
Relaxed,
Aware,
At ease with whatever arises in the field of your awareness.
Allow this very present moment of awareness to be itself.
Let go of the impulse to want to do something,
Meditate on something.
Let go of the need to tweak or improve this moment of awareness.
But just let the act of aware,
Being aware,
Be enough.
Awareness being aware,
Spontaneously and freely,
Effortlessly.
When the mind searches for an object,
Something to get involved in,
Some thought to follow after,
Or some project,
Or when the mind even searches for knowledge,
Something to know.
Just relax that energy of needing to do anything whatsoever and enter into a place of pure being,
Just being,
Spontaneous being,
Natural being.
This is awareness aware of itself.
Tree of plans and goals and needs.
This is awareness aware of itself.
This isness,
This suchness is enough.
Self-luminous,
Self-aware.
Really spacious.
Primordial wisdom awareness.
This is it.
See if you can let go into that place.
That place is primordially present.
Return to that home.

Am I seeing it?
Am I resting in it?
Am I practicing it?
And let your practice be releasing effort and coming back to that place of effortless being.
