Sit comfortably,
Let your face relax,
Your shoulders and hips relax.
Let your body and mind settle down.
Gently close your eyes.
Let your breath deepen.
Full deep inhales and full and complete exhales.
Breathing fully,
Filling all of the lungs and breathe out completely,
Emptying the lungs.
Find your own peace with this deep full breath.
Now let your exhales be a little bit longer.
Relax into your exhales.
With every exhale let some more tension go.
Let your body and mind relax even deeper every time you exhale.
Relax deeply.
Now keeping this pattern of breath bring your awareness to your body.
It's usually easier to focus on sensations of tension or even pain,
Stiffness,
But now try to find the places that feel open,
Full of ease.
Even if it's just a tiny spot in your body,
Find the place that feels open.
Become aware of the feeling when the body is tension free and let this feeling spread out in your body.
Let this feeling of ease and openness fill your body,
Fill every corner,
Every tiny place of your body.
Now how does it feel when there is no tension at all?
How does your body feel when you drop all the stiffness,
All the tension?
Imagine how it would feel to move through your day without any tension in your body.
Let yourself fully feel it,
Fully envision it.
Now bring your attention to the emotions that are present.
What emotions arise in this state of ease and openness?
How do you feel when there is no tension?
With your breath still nice and full,
Shift your attention to the divine qualities that want to come through you when you drop all the tension.
What are the qualities that you are called to embody?
Peace,
Acceptance,
Power,
Love,
Whatever quality arises,
Feel it,
Feel it,
Feeling your body and your soul.
Imagine how it would be to embody this quality throughout your day.
Feel and see how you would be,
How you would act when you are filled fully with this quality.
Let yourself fully feel and see this vision.
Let yourself fully feel and see this vision.
Let yourself fully feel and see this vision.
Now with your breath still full and deep,
Start to come back to where you are sitting,
To your body.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Lengthen your spine if you feel like it.
Take a big deep breath and hold and breathe out completely.
Give yourself some time and when you feel ready you can slowly open your eyes.
Take your time.
Feeling back,
Feel the peace and the divine quality that you brought back with you from the meditation and let it stay with you for the rest of the day.
