Hello and welcome to Sound Healing Meditations with Kate from True Sound.
This is a guided meditation podcast that uses the magic of sound healing to help you reconnect with your body's natural vibrational resonance.
My name is Kate and I'm excited to guide you on your meditation journey today.
So go ahead and make sure you're comfortable,
Preferably in a lying down position covered in a blanket and an eye mask,
Either using headphones or a good quality speaker and enjoy your next few minutes of solitude.
This meditation is an introduction to your three base chakras or energetic centers and their corresponding musical note played by the crystal balls in front of me.
If you're new to sound healing,
This is a great way to connect with not only the location of each of your chakras,
But also to identify with the sound wave that connects to each of these chakras so that when you participate in future meditations,
You can easily identify which of the sounds speak to each of the energetic centers that are being released and more readily attain benefit from the meditation.
So let's begin and make sure that you're lying down with your eyes closed.
Let's start with the Muladhara or root chakra.
This chakra is located at the base of the spine.
It is the foundation on which we build our life and is associated with safety,
Security and stability.
An imbalance in the Muladhara chakra can cause feelings of fear,
Anxiety and concerns with fine answers.
The musical note that speaks to the Muladhara chakra is musical note C.
Draw your awareness down to the base of your spine as I play the musical note C.
Let's move now to your second chakra.
This is the Svadhisthana or sacral chakra.
It is located just below your belly button.
It represents creative and sexual energies.
An imbalance in the Svadhisthana chakra can cause a lack of or repressed creativity,
Sexual dysfunction,
Withheld intimacy and emotional isolation.
The music note that speaks to the Svadhisthana chakra is the musical note D.
Draw your awareness down to just below your belly button as I play the musical note D.
The last chakra we will look at today is the Manipura or solar plexus chakra.
This chakra is located just below the sternum.
It represents self-esteem,
Pleasure,
Willpower and personal responsibility.
An imbalance in the solar plexus chakra can result in low self-esteem,
Control issues,
Manipulative tendencies and a misuse of power.
The musical note that speaks to the solar plexus chakra is the musical note E.
Draw your awareness down to just below your sternum as I play the musical note E.
Now draw your awareness to all three chakras.
The first at the base of your spine,
The second just below your belly button and the third just below your sternum.
I will now play a melody of all three notes for each of the chakras.
I will now play a melody of all three notes for each of the chakras.
I will now play a melody of all three notes for each of the chakras.
I will now play a melody of all three notes for each of the chakras.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your physical form.
Just keeping your eyes closed,
Start to deepen your breath,
Make small movements,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes and rolling the wrists and the ankles.
Just pausing for a moment before opening your eyes and in your mind's eye bow your head to your heart's centre and acknowledge and embrace your abundant vibrational being that gives you your magnetic life force.
Namaste.
