My name is Jacqueline and I am going to take you on a sleep journey where I will leave you to enjoy a tranquil night's sleep.
So if you are ready,
Let's get started.
Settle into your bed and move your body until you feel really comfortable.
Shift your legs and arms until they are in the best position for your night's sleep.
Pull your covers around you and feel their comfort as they cocoon you with their warmth.
Now focus on your breath as you gently close your eyes.
Take a breath in,
Hold for a second and now slowly release that breath and another breath in.
Hold for a second,
Now slowly release that breath.
Breathe steadily as you allow your body to relax.
Now check your comfort,
Wriggle a little if necessary.
Get into that right position for you.
Comfort is key to relaxing and relaxing allows sleep to come.
Let's breathe one more time.
Take that breath in,
Hold for a second,
Now release that breath and relax.
Relax your shoulders,
Relax your arms,
Relax your stomach,
Relax your legs.
As your body feels relaxed and heavy,
Nestle your head deeper into your pillow and allow it to relax.
Relax your jaw as you allow your breathing to flow easily and gently.
You begin to feel a warmth around you,
A warmth that is not from your bed covers.
It's a warmth like sunshine,
A comforting warmth,
A glow surrounding you.
In your mind's eye in front of you on a small round table you see a candle being held by a beautiful candle holder.
The candle is a light and you relax as you watch the candle flame dance and glow in front of you.
It looks like an ordinary candle flame as it burns brightly but as you take a deep breath in and then breathe out the flame grows bigger.
Not too much bigger but big enough to make a difference.
You take another deep breath in and then slowly breathe out and you watch the flame more than double in size.
The flame looks beautiful as it swirls and elegantly moves to the rhythm of your gentle breaths.
You find this very relaxing and comforting to watch and you sense the flame is a spirit sending you healing energy.
As this thought nestles in your mind you suddenly become aware of the golden color of the flame.
A much richer golden color than it was before.
You sense this color is allowing success,
Encouraging achievement and bringing triumph to you.
You take a deep breath in and out as you enjoy this golden color as it surrounds you.
Then you breathe in and out and the color of the flame changes to red as you allow the color red to circle you.
You acknowledge this color helps with energy levels,
Especially when exhausted and can also help increase mobility.
You breathe in and out again and this time the color changes to orange as you allow the color orange to wrap around you.
You acknowledge this color encourages creativity and enthusiasm,
Making you eager to accomplish goals.
Again you breathe in and out and the flame changes to the color yellow.
You allow the color yellow to surround you and you acknowledge this bright and cheery color helps boost your mood as it encourages focus,
Creating positive thoughts and also energizes the muscles within your body.
The color yellow begins to fade as you take another deep breath in and out and the flame changes to green.
As you are covered by the color green you sense it helps to balance the mind,
Creating relaxation as you receive calming thoughts.
You allow the color green to stay with you a little longer,
Enjoying its calmness.
Now you take a breath in and out and the flame changes to blue.
As the color blue rolls around you any pain you may have eases as you enjoy the comfort of this color.
You believe tonight you will experience the best sleep you've had in a while.
As you accept this thought you breathe in and out and the flame turns a beautiful indigo color.
You surround yourself with this peaceful color and sense a stronger connection to your intuition.
As you breathe in this color you feel your airways clear and a feeling of clarity of the mind.
You enjoy this feeling for a moment.
Now you breathe in and out and the color changes to purple.
As the color purple embraces you,
You become more aware of what you want,
What you need to do and a belief that the universe will create the best path for you to achieve it.
With your mind so much clearer you breathe gently as the color purple fades and the candle flame becomes a golden color again.
The warmth of this color caresses you bringing you to a place of peace and total relaxation.
You gently breathe again and the flame becomes smaller as it reduces in size.
The flame has shown you that you are in control of your life and your thoughts.
You have the tools within you and you rejoice in owning your own power.
With these thoughts in mind you realize sleep is close.
With a final breath you blow the candle out and are thankful for the darkness which surrounds you.
It's time to sleep.
Your body feels warm and content.
Your mind feels relaxed and clear.
You are feeling so relaxed.
You are feeling so tranquil.
You are feeling so calm.
You are feeling so sleepy.
Your mind begins to close down as it prepares for sleep to take over.
Sleep is close by.
You feel so peaceful.
You feel so sleepy as you start to drift off to sleep.
You are so relaxed,
So calm,
So peaceful.
You are ready for sleep.
You are ready to dream.
Peacefully your mind closes down and you are ready to fall into a deep,
Deep sleep.
