
Ocean Sunrise Meditation
This is a recording of Outdoor Live Session. There's something special about meditating in nature and therefore I'd like to share with you the beauty of the place where I am privileged to live. This is an opportunity to reconnect with the inner peace.

Welcome,
Good morning to another live session.
Sunrise by the beach or ocean sunrise meditation.
My name is Tomek and I welcome you to another live session.
As you can see behind me,
I could perhaps just leave you with that beautiful view and I will indeed just turn the camera in a second to let you see this absolutely marvelous sunrise.
We are very blessed here on the coast,
On the eastern coast of Australia and Sydney with this beautiful nature.
And today's session is all about nature.
It is about connecting with nature and letting the nature do the job of calming us.
For those of you who have been with me over the past two years and know the beginning of the pandemic,
When it hit us for the first time,
I'd offered for my patrons seven days or 14 day retreat,
So to speak,
When I was sitting in similar spots,
Not far away from here and was talking to you and guiding meditations.
And I want to come back a bit to this concept of taking you out and allowing you essentially to experience the beauty of nature and allowing you to just experience what not everyone,
Particularly now in lockdown,
Is able to experience.
But now I want to hear from you.
How are you doing today?
Where are you tuning from?
Perhaps you are here for the first time.
I would love to hear all about it.
Right now it is 20 past six in Sydney and we'll be seeing the sunrise in about 10 minutes.
So I want you to simply be here and see for yourself how the sun is rising as we together meditate through it and simply pay attention to what is happening.
And I wish you could see what I'm seeing right now because there's no camera that can really show you the extent of the beauty that I'm experiencing right now.
I really hope that you also can hear the sound of the ocean surf and it comes through the microphone because together this is really something unique.
And simply by being here,
I personally feel centered and grounded and more relaxed.
And hopefully you'll be able to hear that through my voice because as the facilitator of this meditation,
It is my job to put you at ease and to make you feel comfortable.
So right now,
As we start relaxing into the present moment and as we are all connected,
I know there are so many of you in the U.
S.
,
Some of you in Europe and other places.
I just want to say hello to all of you and include you in the presence that we all have here and presence that we all co-create.
As you have noticed,
There is no background music today.
There is no additional features on the screen,
But simply the beauty of nature.
And I want to use this opportunity to express my deep gratitude for your presence here,
For all of you who chose to tune in and co-create that mindful space where we can together enjoy the wonder of nature.
Sunrise.
Sunrise in all cultures signifies the beginning of something new and important.
And waking up with the sunrise certainly sets a different rhythm to a day.
And throughout that,
We can move on courageously.
Because when we start with sunrise,
It almost seems that we already achieved a lot.
We started together with nature.
And we have nature as our support.
And this is very important to understand.
You might see in the background now that not only us,
But so many people appreciate this beautiful sunrise and kayakers already paddling down and can see the sunrise up close.
Like I said,
I feel very blessed with living here in this wonderful environment.
Because I understand that particularly now that during time of pandemics,
Not everyone can experience this.
Not everyone has access,
Easy access to just go out and sit.
But here,
I want to bring you all this.
And maybe I'm going to shift the camera a bit to show you here.
You'll be seeing the sunrise right there behind the rock.
You can see this wonderful ball of light emerging right now.
So how do you feel watching all this?
How do you feel connected with nature and with the present moment?
So right now,
I am at Maroubra Beach in Sydney.
For those of you,
Katie asked a question for those for those of you who are wondering.
And right now,
We can see the first light coming out.
I want you just to simply with your eyes open,
Pay attention to the first rays of light that come directly to us.
Pay attention to the warmth of the sun.
In all traditions,
Sun represents life.
And the sunrise means that we can start a new day fully energized,
Fully prepared.
I'm sitting here right now with my partner Sharon.
And we couldn't be happier to experience the sunrise with you guys.
It is something quite spectacular.
And instead of staring,
I have the privilege instead of staring on the screen,
As all of you do,
I actually look directly at the sun rising.
And I was told that this is the only time of the day that for a moment,
You can look at the sun without damaging your eyes.
I'm not sure if that's true.
So please don't take it as a doctor note.
I'm not advising you to stare at the sun at any given point.
Maybe I should actually verify this information before giving it to you.
But that's what I'm doing right now.
And it feels very,
Very calming and grounding.
So right now,
As we continue being and experiencing joyfully this very moment,
I want to invite you to tune into your breath.
I want you to,
As you gaze softly,
Imagine being supported by nature,
Nature around you.
Knowing that without the support of nature,
You could not be here.
It is very easy to take for granted what we have.
The truth is,
We are only a small part of this big planet.
And even though we have a power to destroy it,
We still depend on its natural resources,
Of its generosity.
And I want to appreciate that personally.
And recognize that simple fact that right now,
We are here because of the power of the sun,
Because of the plants who are taking the sun rays and transforming them into food,
Literally,
In quite magnificent way.
So as you sit here,
Present,
Tuning into your breath,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Recognizing that the oxygen that you breathe in and out was produced by plants,
Plants that in turn took the sun energy to convert and to make this possible.
Plants could not exist without the sun.
Plants could not photosynthesize without the sun.
And in turn,
We could not breathe without the plants.
Because there are plants who produce oxygen that we breathe in right now.
If there are any worries,
Any troubles that keep you away from this wonder of nature,
Allow them to simply be released through your out-breath.
Let go of anything that may get in the way of this present moment.
Feel grounded,
Feel centered,
Feel supported.
There's not much to say or anything to do.
But being present,
Being yourself,
Knowing that you are being taken care of,
Knowing that regardless of the circumstances,
The sun is rising above your head and everything is all right.
Things may not have been that great in the past,
Or we will may need to face challenges in the future.
But right now,
In this very moment,
That's where you are.
That's where your power comes from.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Letting the precious oxygen in with fresh,
New energy of this wonderful morning.
And let go of any stale,
Used up energy with your exhale.
How often do you have a chance to joyfully experience a sunrise from so many people from across the world together in this very moment?
Thanks to the technology,
But most importantly,
Thanks to our presence.
Love how Maureen says that we are all equal under the sun.
And that's how I feel right now,
Connected with you.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Allowing everything as is.
I really hope you can hear the sound of the ocean surf that comes to support this beautiful morning.
And it is said that the sound of the ocean surf contains all the frequencies that human ear can hear.
And through that,
You feel calmer,
More relaxed,
Feel more supported,
More at ease.
And as the sun rises,
Everything comes to light.
And all the darkness disappears.
All the darkness outside and also inside.
So if you have right now any thoughts,
Any emotions that hold you back,
Any emotions and any states that keep you in the dark,
This is a good time to let go of them.
This is a good time to release them into the nature that has the power of transforming anything and everything.
Look at the blue sky and the gentle clouds that can only be visible in the sun.
Even though everything can be present in the darkness,
We cannot see it.
And the importance of the light in our life,
Both physically through the power of sun,
But also internally through the power of our consciousness and our awareness that sheds the light on everything that we need to transform.
Everything that requires our effort.
And it's being said that the light of our consciousness can transform anything and everything.
And that's the only ingredient required for us to thrive.
Be present,
Surrounded by the light of our consciousness and our presence.
The power of now.
And with the sunrise that comes,
The sound of the ocean surf and the gentle morning breeze that I wish you could experience now.
This morning breeze compliments in such a wonderful way.
This beautiful scenery,
The nature and everything that we are surrounded by.
I very much appreciate your presence here because this could not happen without you.
And I really hope that you enjoy this sunrise,
The nature coming to your home through the power of the technology.
But I also want to invite you,
If you have a chance,
If it's possible,
To set up a time during the week or at any point of the month to wake up with the sunrise.
It is something that changes indeed your perspective and helps you to begin in a very special way.
So right now,
As we come in towards the end of this meditation,
I want you for a moment to close your eyes and to tune in all the peace,
All the calm,
All the relaxation that you have within you right now.
Enjoy being yourself in this very moment,
Knowing that you are worthy,
You are loved,
You are enough,
And you are supported in so many different ways that you sometimes do not recognize or you may take for granted.
Once you bring that to your awareness,
All things start looking better.
All things are being put into perspective because the light of your consciousness dispels darkness,
Solves problems,
Helps you to face challenges with strength,
Courage and integrity.
That's the way I wish for you to face this day and face this morning.
So with your eyes closed,
Start recognizing the space around you.
Start recognizing everything that supports your daily life.
Feel the space around you,
Recognizing the boundaries of your physical body and tune in into your physical senses that allow you,
Allow this experience into your awareness.
And let us conclude by taking a couple of deeper breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Feel the vitality and energy coming in and letting out all the energy.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes and welcome back.
I will move now the camera from the sunrise to me.
Just for a moment.
I want to share with you this beautiful place that is right here.

Hey Tomek being in the Uk I missed your live show but have enjoyed the audio recording… it is very easy for me to imagine but would love to see the summer sun on a Sydney beach. My mother would have. However when I wake up in the winter months I watch the sunrise over the English Channel from the comfort of my bed. Can’t beat that view. I can watch the sunset from my west windows too if I stand up as there are plants in the way. Totally spoilt on the edge of a cliff. Feel even more spoiled after listening to your meditation. Cheers.
