Taking a few breaths in and out,

Settle into the next few moments.

Let's ground our bodies and souls with each inhale and exhale.

Feeling calm and rooted to the earth.

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and chaotic.

Sometimes we need a few moments to reset.

Some time to rebuild our energy before facing the world again.

I want you to picture yourself in your favorite comfy spot at home.

Maybe it's a cozy chair or the couch.

Perhaps it's snuggled up in bed.

You choose.

If you have a cat that you would like to picture,

Past or present,

Please feel free to do so.

Or if you would like to picture a cat that you have always dreamed of having,

Go ahead.

Again,

This is your choice.

As you are sitting in your favorite spot,

You feel a gentle tap on your leg.

Climbing right onto your lap is the sweetest cat friend you could ever imagine.

They are emanating love and comfort.

Your cat friend curls up in a ball on your lap and begins to send warmth and healing to you with every breath they take.

You can feel their little heart beating against your legs.

As you start snuggling them,

The purring begins and warms your heart.

The vibration and sound of the purring gives you healing and pure health.

You feel their boundless love and embrace it all.

You have a glowing feeling like your heart has been infused with a fresh round of happiness.

You continue petting this sweet creature as they roll around a little bit,

Sending love to the cat as they are sending it to you.

You enjoy a few moments exchanging love and wellness.

You notice that your heart rate has slowed,

Your breathing has relaxed,

And your entire body has released all tension that was previously there.

You feel grateful,

Loving,

And full of renewed hope as you thank your friend,

Taking a couple of breaths in and out as you send your thanks and good intentions to your cat friend.

Plenty of thanks for helping you to ground and reset.

Know that you can come back to this meditation anytime that you need to,

Or you can simply close your eyes and visualize this experience at any time.
