Visualize a beautifully calm environment and take a cleansing moment with your feet in the ocean. Wash away your worries and move forward in life. Transcript

It's time to relax,

Settle in and reset your soul.

Sometimes we have difficult interactions that leave us feeling chaotic,

Hurt,

Lost and even embarrassed.

We are going to take the next few moments to release that,

To release that energy,

To release those feelings and to just be.

Take a couple of relaxed breaths.

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position,

Feeling your shoulders drop down,

Letting your muscles relax,

Opening your hands if they are clenched,

Letting your neck and shoulders release,

Breathing slowly and with intention.

I want you to picture the most relaxing place you have ever been.

It could be a park down the street,

It could be on top of a mountain on the other side of the world.

Take a moment to see that location.

Take a moment to teleport there.

Take in the scenery,

Figure out what it is about this location that gives you such a calm and peaceful feeling.

Maybe it's next to water,

Maybe you are surrounded by trees,

Flowers.

Maybe it was the company that you were with,

The temperature,

The time in your life.

Relive that for a few moments.

Now I want you to picture yourself taking a long,

Luxurious,

Relaxing walk along a beach.

The temperature is perfect,

The sun is shining but it's not too hot,

There's a gentle breeze but it's not too cold.

As you walk along the beach,

You think about the interaction that you just had that was upsetting or disturbing in some way.

As you bring it back into your memory,

You take a step into the water that is right next to you.

This water is so cleansing,

Pure and energizing.

As the waves come in,

They bring forgiveness,

Love,

Optimism and as the waves go back to the ocean,

They take away your pain,

Your worry and your shame.

As the waves come in,

They bring joy,

Bliss and love,

Taking away guilt,

Shame and embarrassment.

Take a couple of moments to just stand and let these waves bring in what you need and take away what you do not need.

Feeling bright,

Light and full love all around for the next few moments.

You close your eyes,

You tilt your face up to the sun,

You open your arms wide and you set everything free that is not serving you,

You let it go.

You release any unkind words that were said to you.

You send any hatred away and out of your energetic being,

Letting it all go,

Feeling every last negative part leave your entire being.

As you feel the sun rays on your face,

The glow,

You feel pure love,

Pure light,

Only goodness surrounding you.

You take a deep breath in and with your exhale,

You let it all go.

The next deep breath brings in so much more love and with your exhale,

Any remanence of anything that does not serve you.

Now you wrap your arms around your entire body,

Giving yourself a huge hug and you commit to letting the interaction go and to focusing on what's ahead.

Gently wiggling your fingers and toes,

Moving your head back and forth,

Opening your eyes.

Oh my goodness, this was so good in the way that it took me from a 10 in terms of hyper anxiety and brought me back to a calm place. It's rare that a visualization works this well to transport my mind and body to that peaceful place when I'm so agitated but here I found myself back on that beach in Maui. Voice, music and waves in the background were so effective. I wish it wasn't so specific in referring to an argument with another person but I turned my opponent into the poor state of my health and was able to benefit. Thank you 🙏

I had a difficult day yesterday. For some reason I was in a bad mood and spiraling. I appreciated the suggestion to let go of the shame and take in healing at the water. Thank you for offering this helpful meditation. P.s. listening to this again and for some reason I wasn’t fond of the background music this time.
