Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
You can sit or lie down,
Whatever feels best for you.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
There's no need to change it,
Just notice it.
Feel the air moving in and out.
Inhale and exhale.
Let your shoulders drop,
Your jaws soften.
If you need to move a little bit,
That's okay.
It's not easy to sit still at first.
With each breath,
Imagine your body gently relaxing a little more.
If your mind wanders,
That's completely normal.
Just bring your focus kindly back to your breath.
Let's sit in silence for a few more seconds,
Just breathing,
Just being,
No judging.
Now slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the room.
Gently wiggle your fingers or toes.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Take a moment to notice how you feel.
That's it.
Just a few quiet moments for yourself.
