Welcome to this morning meditation Start by finding a comfortable seated position with your spine upright and your hands resting gently with the palms facing upward Gently close your eyes or lower your gaze Let your breath be slow,
Deep,
Gentle Really feel the richness and sweetness of the air as it enters your body Let your breath be a quiet gift and feel an appreciation for being alive in this moment On your next inhale,
Let the breath fill up starting all the way in the base of your belly letting it rise up into your chest and holding it for a moment when it reaches the top of your throat Feel yourself beginning to awaken,
To energize,
To step into this new day Then exhale with a sigh,
Allowing yourself to fully arrive in this moment Return to slow,
Steady breathing And as you breathe,
Welcome into this space the highest,
Most loving energy the universe has to offer Welcome in the presence of guidance Welcome in unseen support that is gentle,
Loving and wise Feel not only your presence in this moment but the presence of positive energy all around you and within you Trust and know that you are guided,
You are supported Now gently bring your awareness into the heart chakra in the center of your chest Not just the skin or the surface but feel yourself drop inward 2 or 3 inches deep into your chest Bringing your full attention here This is the seat of your love,
The home of your purpose The source of your deepest knowing And as you rest your focus here,
Allow yourself to think of an intention you would like to set for today Something that offers you meaning and purpose Feel this intention not just as a wish or hope but as if it has already happened As if it is already true,
Already alive within you This shift from wishing to knowing changes everything It builds trust in your path,
It aligns you with your purpose If you can't think of anything,
You can simply choose love And as you feel the strength of this intention in your heart Allow yourself to reflect on the importance of living a life on purpose Try to see and feel the intention you've just set Not only for today but for a life of purpose and meaning Allow yourself to imagine some of your deepest dreams and desires as if they already happened What are the things you most desire to do in this life?
What service do you wish to be of in this world?
What do you see yourself doing that gives you joy and a deep sense of purpose?
Hold those images,
Feel them in your heart And now bring before you in your mind's eye something you are ready to let go of Something that no longer serves you,
That doesn't align with your purpose Something it is time to forgive,
To release See it clearly before you,
Without judgement And with the powerful feeling of love and purpose in your heart Say inwardly,
I am ready to let go Feel this deep within you as you declare it And smile to yourself as you watch the image simply begin to fade effortlessly Because the truth in your heart is stronger than your attachment to anything that no longer serves you Feel the lightness of this release Feel the peace that comes from simply choosing to give your energy and power to something far more meaningful Keeping your awareness resting in the heart Feel it,
Begin to fill it now with gratitude Gratitude for this moment This breath This practice Gratitude for all that is already good in your life Gratitude for all that is becoming Place your palms together in prayer position at your heart Hold your intention one last time in your heart And in your mind simply say thank you When you feel ready gently open your eyes You have gifted yourself a beginning You are supported and you have set yourself up for a beautiful day that is full of purpose
