This meditation is to help you open up and connect with your true inner being and to practice seeing and treating yourself with love and compassion.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or laying down,
Where you can feel supported.
Gently allow your eyes to close if that feels right.
Acknowledge that you are taking this time for yourself and making yourself and your well-being a priority.
You may want to place one hand over your heart and one over your lower belly if that feels comfortable for you.
Take a deep breath in and a long breath out,
Relaxing your shoulders.
And another deep breath in with whatever is going on with you today.
And another deep breath out.
And one last deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Let your hands settle wherever feels comfortable.
Starting at your feet and going up to the top of your head,
Do a gentle scan of your body,
Noticing any areas where you might be holding any tension.
It can be physical,
Maybe in your back or your shoulders.
Or it can be emotionally,
Maybe in your heart.
See if you can breathe into those areas and send love to them,
Allowing them to soften and release with your awareness.
Inhaling deeply and relaxing more with each exhale.
Continuing with an intentional breath.
Inhaling lots of love in and exhaling lots of love out.
Using this loving inhale and this loving exhale to soften those areas that are feeling any tightness or tension.
Using your breath to anchor you in this moment.
This moment is your life and you are worthy and you are loved.
There may be thoughts that come up,
Judgments or self-criticism.
Notice them with quiet curiosity and let them go.
Be patient and kind to yourself.
Remind yourself that you are doing the best you can with the inner and outer resources that you have.
Keep breathing and saying to yourself on each inhale,
Lots of love in,
And on each exhale,
Lots of love out.
Inhale lots of love in,
Exhale lots of love out.
Inhale lots of love in,
Exhale lots of love out.
Continuing with this breath as a way to reset and reconnect with the truth that you are just as worthy of love as anyone else.
Inhale lots of love in,
Exhale lots of love out.
Give yourself all the love that you need.
It's inside you.
Let your love flow through your whole body and receive this love that you deserve.
Inhale lots of love in,
Exhale lots of love out.
You do not need to be anything more or do anything more to be worthy of your love.
The love for yourself is unconditional and without limits.
Take one last deep breath in and a long deep breath out.
Let the corners of your mouth turn up into a little smile even if you don't feel like it.
Take a moment to notice how you feel.
Thank yourself for showing up for yourself.
Softly open your eyes and come back into the space you're in.
Remember you're not alone.
We're all in this together and you are worthy.
