Welcome.
Go ahead and get comfortable where you are.
Close your eyes if you'd like to.
Just take a moment to notice if there's any tightness or tension that you're holding onto anywhere in your body.
Take an inhale and as you exhale see if you can let some of that tension go.
One more time,
Deep breath in and slow release out as you imagine letting go of anything that's weighing you down.
Now let your breath be easy,
Allowing your inhale and exhale to follow their natural rhythm.
Sometimes we feel as though the world is spinning far too fast and we're juggling much more than we feel able to.
There's an urgency to everything,
Pressure coming at us from all sides and we try to keep going,
Going,
Going and doing,
Doing,
Doing when all we really want to do is press pause and take a moment for ourselves.
I'd like to invite you to take that moment now,
This moment,
A moment to turn your attention away from the demands of the day and instead bring your awareness inward.
At the core of you,
At the very essence of your being,
There is ease and space and time.
There is steadiness,
There is center.
Everything else that's happening externally is separate from your center.
Here at the center of you,
You are always enough.
There is no failing,
No falling behind.
There is nothing to prove,
Nobody to convince.
You are enough exactly as you are.
Even in the midst of overwhelm,
There is an invitation,
An invitation to breathe and be.
Repeat after me,
I am rooted,
Grounded and stable.
At my very essence,
There is ease.
My breath is my anchor.
My center is always steady.
This space of steadiness is always available to you,
Always waiting to welcome you.
Remember,
You can recenter yourself at any time with your breath,
With these affirmations,
Just taking a few minutes to come back to yourself.
In your own time,
Gently open your eyes,
Taking a moment to reconnect with the space around you.
Thank you for joining me for this five-minute meditation,
Sending love from my heart to yours.
