Your eyes can be open or you can close your eyes or soften your gaze.
And if there's any last minute thing you wish to gather to help you to be able to settle into the space,
Then you can gather whatever that might be.
And if your body wishes to be in motion for this,
Given that we're going to weave in lineage and legacy,
Then you might decide you want to move in response to these themes.
I invite you to take a few deep breaths into your body.
I invite you to be inviting in new energy and breath with your inhales and release the breath and perhaps any stagnant energy with your exhales.
And as you begin to land in our space and breathe into the body and out from the body,
Take a moment to notice your connection to the earth,
The ground,
What is alive underneath you,
What supports you and also what is alive around you and what resides within you,
Earth.
Notice your physical connection to the earth.
What grounds you.
And you might breathe and ask yourself,
What reminds you you come from the earth,
What reminds you that you and we come from the earth,
The ground,
Life.
And now as you inhale and exhale,
Draw some energy into your body from what is alive.
From the earth.
From this living ancestor ground and water and trees and air and sun and moon.
Draw this energy into your body in the spirit of remembrance that you and we come from the earth.
Breathe and honor this ancestor and wisdom stream,
The earth,
The elements.
And as you breathe and work with earth energy and elemental energy,
As you recognize it is around you and inside you.
With every breath in the spine might grow a bit taller from the below to the above.
And as the spine grows taller and you reach the crown of your head up toward the sky can begin to connect with this feeling experience of lineage that you come from the earth,
That you come from a place that we all emerge from a place of origin.
A place of connection.
Now as you breathe invite yourself to begin to consider other roots and tendrils and connections to lineage,
Earth,
Elements,
Ancestors,
Stories,
Songs,
Memories,
Breath,
Movement,
Ritual,
Tradition.
Magic.
And as you sense into lineage and wisdom streams,
Various teachers and teachings and experiences might weave their way into your awareness.
Continue to draw this energy into your body from earth and these various streams of wisdom and tendrils of lineage.
And when you feel ready with your exhales,
Notice the breath empty from your body and the energy drop down back to the ground and the earth.
With the inhales the spine can lengthen lineage and reach up a connection to what is below,
Reaching up toward the sky and as you exhale this release of breath,
A return of energy to the earth.
And I invite you to bring in the experience of concept of legacy and your imperfect offering,
Whatever that might be.
And notice what rises within you as you breathe out and return energy and an offering to the earth,
What is alive underneath you and around you.
And for these final few breaths here,
I invite you to consider,
Yes,
The ways in which you are being mentored or stewarded or held,
Taught different lessons or receiving medicine from various wisdom streams.
And also all the ways you mentor and steward and hold and shepherd and teach and offer.
And I invite you to weave all of this together with some intention for our time together.
Maybe your intention is to breathe life into lineage and legacy.
Maybe it is to honor yourself as a mentor,
Teacher,
Steward,
Student.
Maybe it is to breathe life into what is alive and wanting to come alive within and around you.
Maybe it is to let go of doubt and to trust yourself.
I invite you to bring this intention into your awareness.
And finally,
To invite in the mantra,
So hum,
So hum,
I am that,
Thou art that.
You are the intention,
You have planted the seed for it is coming alive now.
It is you,
It is us.
So you can repeat silently to yourself,
So hum,
So hum,
So hum.
And whenever you feel ready,
Just continuing to allow the mantra to resonate within you,
So hum,
So hum,
So hum.
As we mindfully return to one another.
Perhaps blinking open your eyes,
Stretching your branches,
Feeling your roots,
Moving your hips.
Taking a deep breath in,
A deep breath out.
And welcoming yourself back.
