Hello there.
This is a practice to help you find steadiness and to study yourself.
I invite you to find a way to be in your body.
We'll be here for about five to seven minutes.
You can sit.
You can stand.
You can move in your body.
You can lie down.
Find a way to be.
Eyes open or closed or soft gaze on the ground in front.
And once you've found a way to be,
Take a few deep breaths.
Begin to come into the breath and feel the rise and fall of your chest as you inhale and exhale.
The way you come closer to yourself with every exhale and the way you expand out with every inhale.
Begin to deepen and lengthen your breath in your body.
And as you deepen and lengthen your breath,
Notice the parts of the body that are in connection with the earth,
Touching the earth,
Feet,
Seat,
Hands,
Back body,
Heart.
Feel the ground underneath you.
Feel the earth.
Feel the ground inside you.
Feel the earth.
And draw some steadiness from the earth and your connection to it through your feet,
Your seat,
Your hands,
Your heart.
Create some steadiness.
Take a few deep breaths.
As you connect with the earth,
Ask it to help you find center.
To find a place of steadiness.
To find a way to be steady.
Even as the ground feels as if it is shifting underneath you.
There is a steadiness you embody.
A strength you embody.
The ability to be unwavering,
Immovable,
Unmessable.
You embody steadiness,
Strength.
And the ability to be unwavering,
To root down,
To ground,
To find your breath,
And to remember who you are,
Who you are even as the ground shifts.
Feel this energy within yourself.
And take a few deep breaths.
What will help you remember you are steady?
You are unwavering.
You are grounded.
You are strong.
You are here.
What will help you remember?
The resource of the breath,
Your inhales that drop through the body that fill you up.
The breath you are breathing now.
The breath you embody that is older than you.
The breath I am breathing now.
The breath you embody that is ancestral,
Planetary,
Cosmic breath.
Perhaps the breath will help you remember as the breath empties from the body,
Expanding out and releasing and energy drops down back to the ground which is underneath you.
You might come into the knowing,
The knowledge that you are not in whatever this is alone.
That I am moving along a steady path with you.
And there are others,
Many others.
Perhaps your heart,
Your heartbeat,
An acknowledgement of your heart and your heartbeat,
The heart as a place of refuge.
The heart as a place of renewal.
The heart's capacity to break open and to heal.
Maybe this is what you need to remember,
The heart.
The heart will help you be steady.
Take a few more deep breaths here.
And stay here as long as you would like,
Tapping into whatever is moving through you now.
As you remain steady,
When you do feel ready to return,
Come back into your space more fully.
You might rub your hands together,
Generating some peace and energy between the palms.
Placing your hands somewhere on your body that needs attention,
Warmth,
Care,
Resonance,
Response,
Connection.
When you feel ready,
You can release.
Many blessings,
Dear hearts.
Many blessings.
