Lea is the Founder of Center for Creative Self-Compassion and a licensed therapist. She also teaches groups, workshops and trainings focused on creative self-compassion. In 2020, she created the Everyday Self-Compassion program, which centers on cultivating self-kindness and navigating the uncertainty of everyday life with creativity, confidence and calm. Lea has meditated regularly for 20 years. She received the Buddhist precepts and has practiced residentially at San Francisco Zen Center.
