Hello and welcome to Self Healing Mondays.
This is a little time and space to step off of the world and just connect to yourself.
There's nothing you need to do here but just be.
Nothing to do.
You don't have to wear any masks here.
You don't have to act all tough or strong or brave.
This is a place where you can let down all your walls and just be yourself.
Nothing to protect,
Nothing to defend,
Nothing to be afraid of,
Nothing to stress out about.
This is a place without any of those things.
So welcome.
To begin,
We're simply gonna breathe in through our nose as deep and strong as we can and we're gonna breathe out through our mouths and let everything that no longer serves us let it all go.
So deep breath in together now and let everything go.
And one more time,
Deep breath in and let everything go.
And one more time,
Deep breath in and sigh everything out.
Recently,
I discovered how to feel more joy.
I discovered the secret to having more joy in your life and I wanted to share it with you in this 15-minute meditation.
I'd like you to bring to the forefront of your mind a moment in your life,
A time when you're not alone.
A time where you experienced pure joy.
Perhaps when a child was born,
Perhaps it was when you got married or fell in love or got the dream job.
It doesn't matter what it was as long as you remember it as pure joy.
And as you see that moment in your mind's eye,
Remember how it felt.
How did joy feel in your body?
I want you to focus all of your attention on that feeling.
Let go of the memory.
Where do you feel the emotion of joy in your body?
Maybe it lives in one place,
In your stomach or your heart.
Or maybe the feeling of joy is a feeling all over your body.
Just sit with the feeling of joy.
Spend time with the emotion.
Explore it.
Does it have a particular sensation?
A warmth?
A tingling?
A buzz?
It doesn't matter what it is that makes you happy.
What matters is experiencing that wonderful emotion of joy in your body.
And you don't only have to feel that joy when something magical happens in your life.
You could allow yourself to feel that joy because somebody else is experiencing magic.
In their life.
I know it's hard to see people with the things you long for.
Whether it be money or love,
Success,
Safety.
I know what it is to see people feeling joy and feeling pain inside of me.
Because I wanted to feel the same way.
I wanted to feel the same way.
I longed for what they had.
But then I realised I can experience their joy with them.
Instead of feeling jealous,
Sad,
Envious.
I could choose to tune into that feeling of joy with them.
To share in their magic.
And so I've decided to do that.
And I've never experienced so much joy.
We stay so separate from each other.
Keep our feelings to ourselves.
But we should be sharing in each other's joys.
We shouldn't be envying each other.
We should be happy for each other.
Because when you can tap into somebody else's happiness.
You're only drawing more happiness into yourself.
That's the secret.
The more joy you feel,
The more joy you draw to yourself.
So the next time you go out.
Take a look around you.
And try and find the joy.
The joy of other people.
Perhaps it's a couple walking down the street holding hands.
Or maybe it's someone driving past you in a really expensive sports car.
Wherever you see someone who looks happy.
Tune into their happiness.
Remember that feeling in your body.
The feeling you got in that moment of pure joy.
And choose to feel that feeling when you see other people are happy.
You can feel joy in other people's happiness.
And by doing so,
You make yourself a magnet for all manner of wonderful things.
You are so worthy of having more joy in your life.
So share in other people's.
And you will feel more joy.
