Before we begin,
I want you to stop.
Just freeze everything for a second and notice how hard you're trying.
Trying to heal faster.
Trying to be calmer.
Trying to think more positively.
To eat more mindfully.
To sleep better.
To do better.
To be better.
It's exhausting,
Isn't it?
You've built a full-time job out of self-improvement.
And yet,
You still never get the peace,
Joy and abundance that you're working so hard to reach.
Here's the truth that no one dares to say out loud.
Fixing yourself is just another addiction to control.
Fixing yourself is fear dressed up as productivity.
And you,
My beautiful human,
Deserve better than a lifetime of self-maintenance.
So today,
I'm inviting you to do something outrageous and monumental.
Absolutely nothing.
Don't improve.
Don't analyse.
Don't manifest.
Just sit in the middle of your magnificent mess and breathe calmly and deeply there.
Like someone who trusts they are exactly where they need to be at this exact moment.
And if a voice does pop up in your head and say,
But if I stop working on myself,
I won't heal and be happy and evolve.
Just answer that voice with a smile.
And tell your head,
From your soul,
The following.
I am not stopping our evolution.
I am just stopping the war.
Every part of you is fighting so hard to help you survive.
The anxious part of you.
The over-thinker in you.
The people-pleaser.
The things you're trying to fix have actually been fighting your corner.
You don't need to fix your anxiety.
You just need to listen to what your nervous system is trying to tell you.
You don't need to get rid of your fear.
You just need to put it in your pocket and take it with you as you move forward.
You don't need to solve your sadness.
You just need to be kind to yourself while you're feeling it.
When you stop fighting yourself,
Your energy comes rushing back into you,
Like blood returning to a numb limb.
That's the moment real healing begins,
Not with control and a constant need to fix,
But with kindness and compassion to self as you are.
When you feel yourself slipping into fixing mode today,
Trying to upgrade,
Improve,
Or become someone better than who you already are,
Please just stop.
Like you just did here with me.
Take a long,
Deep breath and feel your feet on the ground and remind yourself gently,
I'm not fixing myself anymore.
Because you're not.
Your life is about radical self-connection,
Not endless self-correction.
You can keep chasing perfection if you want,
Or you can stay here with yourself on this journey into yourself and meet the human underneath all the trying,
The one who was never broken.
Just waiting to be loved by you.
