
Permission To Be Human.
We are all too hard on ourselves, so this affirmation audio journey helps you to be kinder to yourself, to accept yourself exactly the way you are and give yourself permission to be human. An opportunity to let go of your flaws and defects and give yourself a much needed break.

Hello,
My beautiful fellow traveler.
Welcome to Self Healing Mondays.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for prioritizing yourself and your well-being.
Your mind,
Your heart,
Your body and your soul.
Thank you for being here.
And I thank you for being here.
Healing and learning to love and accept ourselves is so much more powerful when we do it in tribe.
And you are part of my tribe.
Before we begin this week's affirmation audio journey,
Let's give ourselves a little time to relax and be present in this very moment.
So if your eyes aren't closed,
Then I invite you to close them now.
And wherever you are,
However you're sitting or lying down,
I'd like you to put all of your focus on your feet.
And as you take a deep breath in,
I'd like you to send peaceful and relaxing breath down to your feet,
To each of your toes,
The soles of your feet,
Your heels,
The top of your feet and your ankles.
Imagine the breath that you breathe in and send down to your feet is a warm light of relaxing energy and feel your feet surrender and soften.
And now let's do the same thing for our legs.
Breathe in deeply the warm light energy of the universe and send it down to your calves and your shins and your knees and the back of your knees and your thighs and the back of your thighs.
Feel your legs melt into the sofa or the chair or the bed or the floor that you're sitting on.
And now breathe deeply into your pelvis area and your hips.
This is a place where we hold a lot of our attention.
So as you breathe the warm light of the universe there,
Allow your hips to open and for that whole area to just surrender and relax.
Breathe in the warm nurturing light into your stomach and your lower back,
Your chest,
Your spine,
Your shoulders.
Allow your torso to just loosen and unwind.
And now breathe that warm nurturing light of the universe into your hands,
Into each finger,
Each knuckle,
Your thumbs,
Your palms,
The top of your hands,
Your wrists and forearms and elbows and biceps and triceps and your shoulders.
Just allow your arms to go heavy,
To rest wherever they are and fully let go.
And now breathe in that warm light into your neck and the back of your neck,
Your jaw,
Your mouth,
Your cheeks,
Your cheekbones,
Your nose,
The space behind your eyes,
Your eyebrows,
Your temple and your forehead.
Feel your whole face relax in the warm and nurturing light of the universe.
Feel your whole being now immersed in a safe,
Warm and comforting light.
Permission to be human.
Today's Affirmation Audio Journey is about giving yourself a break,
Forgiving yourself,
Allowing yourself to be human and to make mistakes.
I struggle with anxiety sometimes and without intention I take my anxiety out on the people around me.
I don't mean to but it happens.
And the old me would beat myself to a pulp about it.
The old me would diminish myself for not doing better or being better.
But I don't do that anymore.
Nowadays I give myself permission to be human,
To make mistakes,
To have defects of character and to not be perfect.
That doesn't mean I don't continue to work on myself,
To try and become the greatest version of myself I can possibly be.
It simply means I don't have to beat myself up if I'm not the greatest version of myself all the time.
So how can you give yourself permission to be human today?
How can you set yourself free today?
In this Affirmation Audio Journey,
Here with me,
What can you forgive yourself for?
What's something you've been giving yourself a hard time about and instead could decide to let yourself off the hook?
Perhaps you struggle with anxiety.
Perhaps you react too quickly without pausing for a moment.
Perhaps you snap at your child or your partner.
Perhaps you procrastinate.
Whatever it is that you judge yourself so harshly for,
I'd like you to contemplate the possibility of giving yourself a break.
Be kind to you.
Be kind to your humanness.
Striving to be perfect is ridiculous and impossible.
We set ourselves up to fail because we'll never be perfect and we'll never get everything right.
And that's okay.
That's perfectly okay.
It's perfectly okay not to be perfect.
It's perfectly okay to not do everything perfectly.
It's perfectly okay to simply be you in all of your imperfect humanness.
How does that feel?
How does it feel in your body to give yourself permission to be human?
Can you feel it?
Giving yourself permission to be flawed allows your mind,
Your heart,
Your body and your soul to breathe a much needed huge sigh of relief.
So let's do that now.
Let's do it together.
Let us allow our minds,
Our hearts,
Our bodies and our souls to breathe out a long deep sigh of relief.
Relief that we are giving all and every aspect of ourselves permission to be imperfect,
Flawed and human.
We're going to take a long deep breath in through our nose,
Hold it at the top for a moment and then breathe out all self-criticism,
Judgment and need for perfection.
After three we shall begin.
One,
Two,
Three.
Breathe in as deep as you can and hold,
Hold,
Hold and let everything go.
And one more time after three.
One,
Two,
Three.
Breathe in,
Hold and let it all go.
Can you feel how your body loves you for doing this?
Can you feel how your heart expands,
Your mind softens and your soul smiles?
Let us stay here for a while in this moment enjoying the feeling of giving ourselves permission to be human.

Well done for letting everything go and giving yourself permission to be exactly as you are.
You deserve time like this.
Time to be human with flaws,
Defects,
Mistakes.
It's all part of your humanness and it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you or you're broken or you're not doing a good job.
You're doing an amazing job.
Be proud of yourself.
Be proud of who you are,
How you are exactly in this very moment.
Always remember to give yourself permission to be human.
