Hello and welcome.
Welcome to self healing Sundays.
Just a little time for you to make everything all and only about you.
A safe space to come and recharge your battery.
To give your mind a rest and to nourish your soul.
To begin we're just going to breathe together.
We're going to breathe in as deep as we can through our nose.
And we're going to let everything out in a big sigh through our mouths.
And we're going to do that three times.
So let's begin.
Deep breath in through the nose.
And let everything go.
And again deep breath in through the nose.
And one more time.
Deep breath in through the nose.
And relax.
Just be.
Just be here now with me.
And forget the rest of the world.
Today's meditation is about the in between place.
It's the place we hate being in.
Even though sometimes it's exactly where we need to be.
It's the place of not knowing.
The place of unwilling pause.
It's the place where nothing seems to be happening.
Like we're stuck in limbo.
Where you don't know what's next or if next will ever happen.
The in between place is a confusing place to be.
You can feel several emotions all at the same time.
And thoughts tend to rush around your mind faster than usual.
It's uncomfortable.
So uncomfortable that you can force yourself to move ahead before you're ready.
And you end up making wrong decisions.
Or rushing.
Doing something impulsive that later you might regret.
But the in between place should not be avoided or escaped from.
It's a powerful space.
A space where everything is rearranging itself inside of you.
Without you even realizing it.
It's the place where you can discover new ways of being.
New paths.
New directions.
If you could just have the willingness to be exactly where you are.
The in between place is a space to breathe and surrender.
To admit you just don't know right now.
And it's so perfectly okay not to know what's next or how or when.
The in between is where you let go of all control and simply trust the universe.
It's where options and possibilities have space to bear fruit.
That uncomfortable pause between the chapters in your life is an opportunity to discover things you never knew were there.
We've become a world of instant gratification.
Of needing to know.
To have a plan.
To achieve.
Succeed.
Strive on.
We're always doing,
Doing,
Doing.
In a rush to get to whatever is next.
Do more.
Be better.
Find the answers.
Achieve greatness.
We're all in such a hurry that we rush past the important quiet places in between.
So in this meditation,
I'm inviting you to not know the answers.
I'm inviting you to not have a clue about what comes next.
I'm inviting you to just let go and trust the process.
To sit in the discomfort and get to know it a little bit better.
Because if you're sitting in an uncomfortable place of not knowing,
You need to trust that that's exactly where you're supposed to be.
Don't force yourself to know which way if you don't know.
Just sit in the in-between place and explore what's there for you.
Confusion.
Fear.
Anxiety.
Impatience.
Guilt.
Frustration.
Welcome in whatever is there.
None of those feelings are bad or wrong or mean you're not healing or you're stuck.
They're quite simply emotions asking to be acknowledged and felt.
Nothing more and nothing less.
And the more you allow the in-between place to just be what it is,
With patience,
Willingness and compassion for yourself,
The more you'll discover the clarity,
Guidance and intuition you seek.
Don't hurry the process.
Slow down.
There's no panic.
No rush.
Take some time now to be exactly where you are.
Maybe you don't know what to do next.
Maybe you feel lost,
Frustrated,
Bored,
Stuck.
Wherever you are,
If you feel like you're not going anywhere,
Just be there.
Be there right now.
Trust that everything is exactly the way it should be.
Trust that you are exactly where you need to be.
Trust that the universe has your back.
That everything is orchestrated perfectly.
Everything you're feeling is meant to be felt.
Not avoided or pushed away or pushed down.
Be where you are.
So for this last song,
Whether you feel like you're in the in-between place right now or not,
Just be where you are.
Feeling what you're feeling,
Whether it's comfortable or uncomfortable.
And know that the universe is looking after you.
Everything is exactly the way it's supposed to be.
And breathe.
Just breathe.
When you don't know what to do,
Just be with the unknowing.
When you feel stuck,
Trust there's a reason that you're there.
Remember the in-between place is an important place to be.
