Your body,

Feeds your heart and feeds your soul.

Please begin by standing still,
Somewhere safe outdoors.
Perhaps you're standing outside your house or perhaps you're already in a park or a forest.
Somewhere with trees,
Somewhere with mother nature of some sort.
And just take a moment here to breathe and to come into yourself.
Give yourself some long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
Let each inhale gather what is noisy inside you.
And let each exhale dissolve it now before we walk.
No need to take the noise with you.
No need to take anything with you.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
The kind of breathing that reminds you that you're here now.
Alive.
Fully present in your own unique existence.
Feel yourself drifting from surface to depth as the mind loosens its grip on you.
Now hear this clearly.

Please do not walk in your thoughts.
Most of us spend our lives moving through the world from the neck up.
Our minds constantly buzzing with analysis,
Projection,
Planning,
Fearing,
Defending,
Replaying,
Justifying.
You can go to the gym every day.
You could be flexible from yoga.
And you can still be walking like a ghost in your own life.
So this walk is not about exercise.
It's about connection.
Soul with body.
You with nature.
You with the living universe that you are made of.
Take one more long,
Deep breath.
And when you're ready,
Please now begin walking.
I'd like you to walk like you've been blind your whole life.
And finally now,
You get to see.
Like your eyes have just been returned to you.
Do not look at nature as scenery.
Let nature enter you in vibration.
In sensation.
In energy.
Let your gaze now fall on green.
Not one green.
A hundred different greens.
See a thousand different shades of green in one tree.
See the lime green in new leaves that shine with new beginnings.
Deep greens that feel ancient and wise.
Sage greens that soothe the soul like a cool hand on a warm forehead.
Now I'd like you to choose one shade of green and let it choose you back.
Drink that shade of green in like colour can be inhaled.
Imagine this green has a frequency.
And your body knows exactly how to transmute this frequency into pure well-being.
All you have to do is breathe the colour into yourself.
Let the colour move through your chest.
Your belly.
Your hips all the way down you.
Into the very soles of your feet.
And now choose another shade of green.
Darker.
Or brighter.
Or softer.
Perhaps a shadow green on the underside of a leaf.
Or a rain-touched green held in a tiny ball of juice.
It's up to you.
Find another secret shade of green and breathe it in.
Let the colour you choose become a medicine for your soul.
For your whole entire being.
You're not just looking with your eyes,
You're receiving.
Mother Nature stops being something outside you and begins to include you.
Nature soothing you and healing you.
Right now in this very moment.
Keep walking.
And now allow your eyes to soften your view.
Let the edges blur a little.
Blur the sharpness of life around you.
Let shapes become brush strokes.
Like living paint moving as you move.
Sight begins to merge with scent and sound.
Until your senses are no longer separate channels,
But one wide river of sensation carrying you forward.
Now please stop walking for a moment.
Stand wherever you are and close your eyes.
Turn the volume of your mind down to a whisper.
The way you would turn down a radio that's been playing way too loud for way too long.
Listen for what's not in your mind.
Listen to what's in your beingness.
Your body.
The sensations that are alive inside you.
Everything alive inside you from the neck down.
Feel the precious sensation of your own delicate breath.
Feel how nature speaks in the same language as your soul.
It's a language your mind can't translate.
A language your mind will never understand.
So don't let your mind try.
You don't need any words here.
You're now tuning into your own intuition.
Your own heart.
Your own soul.
Truly connecting to yourself.
So now gently open your eyes and begin walking slowly with yourself.
Now as you walk I'd like you to invite your sense of smell to lead the way for a while.
Because we often underestimate our sense of smell.
Inside your nose there are tiny hairs that are so wise and so sensitive.
Reading the scent of the world without any effort whatsoever.
So breathe in the nature around you now.
Walk up to a tree and dare to smell its bark.
Or smell the spicy scent of a pine cone.
Or smell the chill in the air.
Smell the wildness.
The soil.
Just let scent touch you.
Without your mind needing to name or define anything.
Smell is a doorway into your own body.
And your body is your doorway into your own inner truth.
Truth doesn't need thoughts.
It simply needs your attention and full awareness.
So just smell life for a moment.
We are always doing.
Always moving.
Always trying.
So now.
Next.
I want you to do.
Absolutely nothing.
I'd like you now.
To stop walking.
Stop smelling.
Stop seeing.
Stop hearing.
And just be.
Just be.
Let life move without you moving.
Let life move without you doing anything.
Look up.
Watch clouds drift at a pace so slow you only notice it.
Because you've allowed yourself to stop and just be.
Watch a reflection shimmer so quietly in a puddle.
Or how light scatters into coins on a tree.
Or watch as a tiny ant does its important ordinary work.
I want you to notice that by simply being.
You can connect to what you would never have noticed in your constant state of doing.
Notice how the world goes on being miraculous without any effort from you.
Let this truth rest in your entire nervous system.
Just be here.
Melt into the safety of all that is.
And when stillness feels complete inside you.
Start walking slowly again.
Feeling fully connected to yourself and everything around you.
Now I'm going to tell you something that you may not believe but I'm asking you to believe me and to trust me.
Up ahead of you there is a portal.
Nature shows them everywhere if you know how to see them.
There are portals all around us.
It's just most people are completely blind to them.
So I'm asking you to see your portal now.
It could be two trees bending their branches overhead to reach each other making an archway.
It could be a narrow path becoming a green tunnel of branches.
It could be a fallen trunk you need to climb over.
Or a simple gate you must open and walk through.
Or a crossroads where you get to decide your next direction.
When you find your portal I'd like you to please pause at its edge.
Look at this moment the way you would look at a moment that could change your whole entire life forever.
Because this portal can do that if you allow it to.
If you step through this portal created by nature you step into a life with less struggle.
You step into a way of seeing that loosens the grip of any old pain and any old stories that keep haunting you.
You step through to a life of ease that is awake and safe and nurturing.
You step into abundance as a felt relationship with a beautiful and generous world.
So when you're ready please step through the portal and feel everything inside you recalibrating now.
Walk towards a brand new life,
A life connected to absolutely everything.
Feel your energy changing.
Feel the spring awakening inside of you.
Like you're really truly walking into a brand new beginning.
If you had to name this feeling you might call it complete belonging with all that is.
You feel like a windows opened wide inside you.
The breeze moving in and out of you.
Your whole being breathing with new clean fresh air.
Now please make a promise to yourself.
Promise yourself that when this walk is done and you return home you will give your sense of taste something truly marvelous.
Give your taste what it truly wants,
No rules,
No diet,
No guilt,
No restrictions.
Something your soul really wants to taste after doing such deep beautiful and powerful work on yourself.
Please feed yourself something marvelous to make the end of this journey even more delicious.
Maybe it's morning where you are but your soul really wants an ice cream.
Maybe it's evening where you are but your soul wants breakfast.
Or a single square of chocolate that you let melt slowly in your mouth until it disappears.
Whatever the deliciousness is that your soul desires please give it to yourself today.
Taste it with total presence and when you do don't be doing anything else.
Do this as a celebration to life to the deliciousness of your existence.
And as we come to the end of our journey together let this transition be slow.
Maybe quietly acknowledge to yourself one gift you're bringing back with you from this journey.
Don't pick the gift from your mind,

Maybe it's as simple as feeling a deeper connection to yourself.
Maybe you can now feel and sense life moving through you.
