Welcome to this meditation for calm and peace,
Even if your to-do list feels endless.
I'm Sarasen Acroce and I'll be your guide today.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Whether that's seated or lying down,
And then gently close your eyes if that feels safe.
And let's start by bringing our awareness to the senses.
To really arrive in the present moment,
Start to become aware of sound,
All the noises around you in the distance,
And just observing now the coming and going of sound.
And now bring awareness to your body and just feel the temperature of the air on your skin,
The clothes that are touching your body,
The surface beneath you that's supporting you.
And now bring your awareness to gravity,
The external force all around you,
Connecting you to this world.
Just see if you can soften and surrender to this force,
Allowing yourself to become heavy,
Grounded and supported.
And now bring your awareness to the breath,
Breathing in through the nose and breathing out through your mouth,
In and out.
Just continue to breathe this way for a few breaths on your own.
And now let's step into your serene garden,
A sacred space of calmness and peace,
Where you can reconnect with your inner self and find refuge from the never-ending to-do list that weighs on your mind.
As you step into this tranquil oasis,
Take a moment to appreciate the simplicity and the beauty of the surroundings,
The gentle rustle of leaves,
The soft chirping of birds and the stillness that embraces you like a warm blanket.
Find a comfortable spot to settle down,
Maybe beneath the sheltering branches of a tall tree or near the quiet murmur of a stream.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath,
Allowing yourself to release the mental clutter of your to-do list.
In this moment,
You are free from the pressures of tasks and responsibilities.
You are simply present.
Just like the flowers in your garden bloom in their own time,
You are allowed to approach your tasks with patience and grace.
Even when your to-do list feels overwhelming,
You can remain centered and composed,
Knowing that you are doing your best.
Take a moment now to acknowledge the progress you've already made,
Even if it feels small.
Each step forward,
Each task completed is a sign of your capability and dedication.
Yield the burden of your endless list,
Begin to ease as you embrace the idea that it's ok to prioritize and take things one step at a time.
As you sit in this tranquil garden,
Surrounded by the calm of nature,
Let go of any pressure to do it all at once.
Instead allow yourself to be enveloped in a sense of peace and acceptance,
Knowing that you are enough,
Even if everything isn't done yet.
Your worth is not tied to your productivity.
You are enough,
Just as you are.
With each breath you take,
Feel yourself becoming more centered,
More balanced,
And more at peace,
Releasing the need to rush or be perfect.
Embrace the simple truth that you can only do one thing at a time,
And that's ok.
In the stillness of your serene garden,
Take a moment now to set an intention for yourself,
A gentle reminder to approach your tasks with calm and clarity,
To prioritize what truly matters,
And to give yourself permission to rest.
Whether it's a commitment to self-compassion,
A promise to find balance,
Or simply a moment of gratitude for your own efforts,
Allow this intention to guide you on your path forward.
And now feel your entire body in a deep state of relaxation,
And just enjoy this moment of deep rest and relaxation.
In your own personal inner sanctuary,
A place where you go to feel safe,
Secure,
Grounded,
In a deep sense of peace and inner love for yourself and all of life around you.
And now bring your awareness back to your breath and just allow your body to breathe for you,
With no effort whatsoever.
As we prepare to conclude this meditation,
Take one final deep breath,
Allowing the peace and tranquility of your garden to infuse every cell of your being.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and return to the present moment,
Carrying with you a sense of calmness,
Clarity,
And self-assurance that will light your way wherever you go.
