Welcome to this morning meditation for after a rough night's sleep.

I'm Sarasenna Croce and I'll be your guide today.

If you've had a rough night's sleep,

This meditation is hopefully here to help you embrace self-compassion,

Take things slow and gently welcome a new day.

I definitely know what it feels like to have had a rough night's sleep,

So I'm with you.

Go ahead and find a comfortable position,

Maybe you're still lying in bed or sitting somewhere.

Just go ahead and get settled and then gently close your eyes if that feels safe.

And take a deep breath in,

Breathe in a sense of calm and nurturing.

And as you exhale,

Release any tension,

Fatigue or frustration lingering from the night.

And now just let your breath find its own gentle rhythm,

Allowing each inhale to bring in renewal and each exhale to wash away the heaviness of your sleepless night.

Now bring your awareness to your body,

Feel the support beneath you,

The surface holding you gently as if inviting you to rest just a little bit longer.

Notice any sensations throughout your body,

Acknowledge where you feel tightness or sluggishness from the night.

Maybe it's in your head,

In your mind,

Because you're thinking all night long.

It's okay to feel tired,

You're honoring your experience by simply being here now.

Breathe deeply into those areas,

Sending warmth and relaxation to where you feel the weight of the night's sleep.

Imagine your breath blowing in like a gentle wave,

Soothing and nurturing.

And as you exhale,

Let go of any heaviness,

Allowing yourself to feel lighter and more at ease.

As you keep breathing,

Remind yourself that a rough night doesn't have to define your day.

This moment is an invitation to approach the day with kindness and patience.

Just allow yourself some grace to take things slow today.

Inhale deeply,

Embracing that it's perfectly fine to start your day at your own pace today.

And exhale,

Release any self-judgment about how you should feel or function.

Know that it's okay to listen to your body's needs and give yourself permission to move gently into your day.

You are resilient,

Even when last night didn't go so well.

This time is not a sign of weakness.

It's an opportunity to nurture yourself and honor this experience and be more kind.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling yourself with the energy of self-compassion and understanding.

And exhale and feel the weight of fatigue lifting just a tiny bit,

Making space for renewal and clarity.

Now visualize a soft,

Warm light surrounding you,

A gentle embrace that brings you peace.

This light represents your inner strength and the love you have for yourself,

Reminding you that it's okay to take it slow today.

With each breath,

Feel this light expanding,

Wrapping you in comfort and safety.

Inhale and welcome the healing energy that comes from within.

And exhale to let go of any negativity or frustration from the night.

You deserve this time to recalibrate and by honoring it,

You honor yourself.

As you bask in your comforting light,

Remind yourself that every day is a new beginning,

Regardless of how the night before unfolded.

You are enough just as you are,

Even if you didn't sleep well.

And today is a chance to be gentle with yourself.

Take another moment to just rest and notice how you feel in this present moment,

Inviting a sense of peace and acceptance as you prepare to step into your day.

Remember you are worthy of compassion and care.

And today and every day,

Honor yourself with the kindness you deserve.

Namaste.

Welcome back.

Thank you for joining me in this morning meditation.

May you carry this sense of self-love and gentleness with you throughout your day.

And just trust that tonight is another night and hopefully you sleep much better.
