Welcome to this meditation called Just Be a Sunday Meditation.
I'm Sarasinna Croce and I'll guide you through this practice.
I'm recording this on a cloudy Sunday from my home office in Switzerland.
This meditation is also part of a course called The Swiss Secret 10 Habits for a Balanced and Grounded Life.
And tranquil Sundays is one of those 10 secrets.

As always,
Find a comfortable position,
Allowing your body to relax completely.
And then close your eyes gently and take a slow,
Deep breath.
As you inhale,
Imagine the crisp,
Fresh air of a peaceful Sunday morning in Switzerland filling your lungs.
And as you exhale,
Feel your body release any tension,
Letting go of all the weight you've been carrying.
Picture this scene.
The streets are quiet,
Almost as if the world has pressed pause.
It's Sunday,
And in Switzerland the day carries a unique stillness.
A spaciousness that invites you to slow down.
There's no rush,
No deadlines,
No errands clamoring your attention.
The shops are closed and life takes on a gentler pace.
Breathe in the peace of this moment,
Feeling how the stillness wraps around you like a warm,
Comforting blanket.
Now imagine walking along one of those quiet streets.
The cobblestones beneath your feet give way to an open park with families picnicking,
Children playing,
And others sitting quietly on benches,
Simply taking in the serenity of the day.
The air is crisp,
Fresh and slightly cool,
And a perfect reflection of the tranquility surrounding you.
The sounds of nature fill your ears,
Birds singing softly,
The gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze,
And perhaps the distant sound of a flowing river or a lake's gentle waves.
This is your time,
A time to disconnect from the busyness of life and reconnect with yourself.
Imagine that each breath you take brings in more of this peace,
This sense of quiet spaciousness.
With every exhale,
Let go of the need to be productive,
To achieve,
To keep moving.
Today,
There's nothing you need to do.
Instead,
You're invited to simply be.
Feel the weight of any pressure you might be carrying slowly dissolve with each breath.
Notice how your shoulders relax as you release the need to meet expectations,
Yours or anyone else's.
There is freedom in this moment,
The freedom to rest without guilt,
Without feeling like you're falling behind.
As you continue to breathe,
Allow yourself to lean into the quiet rhythms of this day and now turn your awareness inward.
How does your body feel in this state of rest?
How does your heart feel when it's not racing to keep up with the pace of the outside world?
Take a moment to notice the quiet joy that arises when you allow yourself to just be,
Free from the pull of responsibilities or the noise of modern life.
This Sunday is not about checking off tasks or fitting in more work.
It's about reclaiming your space to breathe,
To pause and to experience life as it is,
Without needing to fix or change anything.
Feel how natural it is to be here in this moment,
Fully present with yourself.
Notice how the stillness within mirrors the stillness around you.
In this quiet state,
You may even feel more connected to the people in your life,
Simply by being rather than doing.
This spaciousness allows room for love,
For connection and for the beauty of simply existing.
As you breathe in once more,
Take in the fullness of this peace,
Knowing that it's always available to you.
No matter how busy life becomes,
You can always return to this sense of stillness.
You can always choose to let go,
To pause and to simply be,
Whether it's on a Sunday or any other day of the week.
And when you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment,
To the sensation of your body resting where you are.
In this moment and every moment,
Allow yourself the gift to simply be.
Thank you so much for listening.
