Welcome to this meditation for calm and peace,
Even if you're busy.
I'm Sarasana Croce and I'll be your guide today.
If you're anything like me,
You know what it feels like to be pulled in a million directions at once,
Juggling work,
Family and everything else on your to-do list.
It's easy to feel overwhelmed and stretched too thin.
So I created this meditation because in the midst of all the busyness,
I've learned the importance of taking a moment to pause and find calm.
So go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Whether you're seated at your desk,
In a cozy chair or even lying down,
Whatever feels best for you right now.
And now gently close your eyes if that feels safe.
And let's begin by bringing our awareness to the senses.
Start by noticing the sounds around you.
Just observe the coming and going of sound.
Letting it pass without judgment or attachment.
And now shift your awareness to your body.
Feel the temperature of the air on your skin.
Notice the sensation of your clothes touching your body and the surface beneath you,
Supporting you.
And now bring your awareness to gravity.
Really feel this external force all around you,
Grounding you,
Connecting you to the earth.
See if you can soften and surrender to this force.
Just let go and allow yourself to become heavy,
Grounded and supported.
And now let's bring your attention to your breath.
Inhale through your nose,
Drawing the breath into your abdomen and then into your chest.
And then exhale fully,
Releasing any tension or anxiety with each breath.
So just continue breathing in this way for a few more breaths on your own.
And now let's step into your serene garden,
A sacred space of calmness and peace where you can reconnect with your inner self,
Even when life feels overwhelmingly busy.
As you enter this tranquil garden,
Imagine yourself surrounded by an energy that gently whispers,
It's okay to pause.
This energy doesn't rush you or push you.
It simply offers you a moment to just be.
The flowers and trees in your garden are not in a hurry.
They grow at their own pace,
Thriving in their own time,
Reminding you that life doesn't always have to be a race.
Now find a comfortable spot in this garden,
Maybe by a quiet pond or under a shady tree.
And as you settle in,
Feel the earth beneath you,
Supporting you,
Reminding you that even in the midst of busyness,
You can find a moment of stillness.
Take a deep breath,
Allowing yourself to release the tension that comes from a never-ending to-do list and the feeling of being overwhelmed.
Here you really can just let go of the need to accomplish everything at once.
Release the belief that your worth is tied to your productivity.
Here you are more than the tasks you complete,
More than the roles you play.
You are a whole person,
Deserving of peace and calm,
Just as you are.
And like the plants in this garden,
You are part of the natural world,
And your body and mind know what they need.
Even in moments of busyness,
Your inner self is guiding you toward a state of balance and peace.
As you sit in this peaceful garden,
Surrounded by the quiet assurance of nature,
Let go of any thoughts of should or must.
Busyness is not a reflection of your worth or value.
You are enough,
Just as you are in this moment.
Allow yourself to be enveloped in a sense of calm and self-compassion,
Knowing that it's okay to take a break.
Your worth is not tied to your ability to do it all.
In fact,
It's in these moments of pause that you have the opportunity to connect more deeply with your inner peace.
With each breath you take,
Feel yourself becoming more centered,
More balanced,
And more at ease.
Release the need to control every detail of your day,
And instead focus on what you can do to support yourself with kindness and care.
So in the stillness of your serene garden,
Let's take a moment to set an intention for yourself.
Maybe it's to be kinder to yourself,
To go more slowly,
Or simply to find moments of peace amidst all the busyness.
Whatever your intention,
Let it serve as a soft whisper,
Reminding you that you are enough,
Just as you are.
Embrace the moments of peace that naturally arise when you let go of the need to accomplish it all.
And now,
Just feel your entire body in a deep state of relaxation.
And just enjoy this moment of deep rest and relaxation.
In your own personal inner sanctuary,
A place where you go to feel safe,
Secure,
Grounded,
And a deep sense of peace and inner love for yourself and all of life around you.
And now bring your awareness back to your breath and just allow your body to breathe for you with no effort whatsoever.
And as we prepare to conclude this meditation,
Take one final deep breath,
Allowing the peace and tranquility of your garden to infuse every cell of your being.
And then,
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and return to the present moment,
Sharing with you a sense of calmness,
Clarity,
And the assurance that you are enough.
Right here,
Right now,
Just as you are.
Welcome back.
I hope this meditation gave you a little break and reminded you that it's okay to pause,
Even when life is busy.
Embrace these moments of stillness.
They're part of what makes you beautifully human.
