Welcome to this meditation for stress-free mornings.
I'm Sara Senacroce,
And I'll be your guide today.
I'm recording this on a sunny November morning from my home office in Switzerland.
This is your time to gently ease into the day with calm and clarity.
Let's let go of any stress or rush and create a positive,
Focused mindset to carry with you throughout the day.
Let's begin.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position.
Can do this seated or lying down with your hands resting gently on your lap or at your sides.
If it feels safe,
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling your lungs expand fully.
Hold it for a moment and now exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or heaviness.
Take another deep breath in,
This time imagining that you're breathing in calm and ease.
Hold it.
And as you exhale,
Let go of any worries about the day ahead.
And now just let your breath settle into a natural,
Soothing rhythm.
Now,
Bring your attention to your body and notice how it feels as you begin to wake up for the day.
Starting at the top of your head,
We'll scan down through your body,
Softening any areas of tension.
So start with your forehead,
Relax your brow and the tiny muscles around your eyes.
And now move to your jaw and notice if you have been feeling any pain and notice if you have been clenching it and consciously relax it.
And the same with your shoulders.
Make sure you let them drop away from your ears.
And now pay attention to your chest.
Feel your chest rise and fall gently with your breath.
Soften your belly and let your arms and hands rest heavily.
Feel how heavy they feel.
And now let this relaxation blow down your legs all the way to your toes.
Feel your body supported,
At ease and ready to meet the day ahead.
Now,
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a calm,
Open field as the morning sun rises.
The air is crisp and fresh carrying the sense of renewal.
Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,
Gentle and energizing as it begins to light up the world around you.
As you stand here take a moment to set an intention for your day.
What do you want to carry with you as you move through your morning?
Maybe it's patience,
Focus,
Gratitude,
Gratitude,
Something else.
Let this intention settle in your mind like a soft,
Steady light guiding you forward.
Now think about the rhythm of your morning ahead of you.
What would it feel like to move through your day with calm and ease?
Picture yourself flowing from one task to the next,
Fully present,
Without rush or overwhelm.
See yourself pausing to take a breath whenever you need it,
Grounding yourself in the present moment.
Now take another deep breath and as you exhale silently repeat the following affirmations after me.
I greet this day with calm and clarity.
I move through my morning with ease.
I choose presence,
I choose peace,
I choose presence over pressure.
I carry a sense of peace into everything I do.
Feel these affirmations settle into your being,
Becoming your honest truth for the day ahead.
And now as we wrap up,
Bring to mind one small thing you can do today to bring joy into your morning.
Maybe it's sipping your coffee very slowly or listening to a favorite song or taking a quiet moment to yourself before starting your tasks.
Whatever it is,
Really allow yourself to look forward to it,
Knowing it will add a moment of calm and happiness to your morning.
Take one more deep breath,
Filling your body with a sense of calm and readiness.
And remember the energy of the morning sun within you,
Steady and uplifting as you prepare to step into your day with grace and focus.
And now bring your awareness back to your breath and just let your body breathe for you for another moment without effort.
Now slowly start to bring your awareness back to the present moment wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you feel ready,
You can slowly open your eyes and carry the sense of calm and ease with you as you move through your morning,
Knowing you can return to this state anytime you need.
