Finding my breath.
Today I find myself sad,
Nervous,
Agitated,
Depressed,
Or maybe even a bit crazy.
Okay,
That is okay.
I am human.
Thankfully,
I'm not a robot.
I am me and I am human and I have the key to my freedom.
My beloved eyes let your lids slowly get heavy and close the world outside.
As I bring my attention to my nose or maybe to my lips,
I find the movement of cold air enters and warm air leaves.
Okay,
This is doable.
Breathing in for 1,
2,
3.
Breathing out for 1,
2,
3.
This feels good already.
I'll try this one more time.
Breathing in for 1,
2,
3.
Breathing out for 1,
2,
3.
Breathing in 1,
2,
3.
Breathing out 1,
2,
3.
As I soften my thought,
I feel my breath move up and down my chest.
This thought passes and I patiently wait for the next thought.
As I breathe in and out,
I'm going to pause my thoughts and listen to my own intelligent breath.
My chest inflates and deflates.
My ribs make room as I inhale and my ribs fall back as I exhale.
Exhaling feels good,
So I'm going to slow down even more as I exhale and pause at the end of each out breath.
Here,
I have found my beloved life leading breath.
I have found my breath.
I am breathing and I feel completely calm.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
A gentle momentary pause and once again,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
I'm finding my breath and I'm calm.
