Hello and welcome.
So today I wanted to do one small and quick process with you that helps shift you out of fear and builds your momentum so you can move onto a path that helps you feel more aligned and on track with your life.
I use this process myself and also with my clients.
And where they were once stagnating,
They gained much needed clarity to take a step forward.
They make significant changes in their life that feels inspired.
They take action rather than playing small and getting in their own way.
So let's dive in.
One of the things that keeps us stuck in life or from making changes is fear of the outcome holding us back.
And the reality is we can't know an exact outcome.
We don't have guarantees.
So we get caught up in the what ifs.
What if it doesn't go the way I want?
What if I don't succeed?
Which scientifically is our brain's way of keeping us safe and playing small.
To take a leap forward or a new path or make a change,
But you get stuck in the not doing.
And what's interesting is the physiological feeling of fear in the body is very similar to excitement.
However,
It's just in the way you perceive it.
So fear is the worry about what will go wrong,
Projecting a negative outcome onto a future event.
So that fear or anxiety comes from perceiving something might go badly or it won't be received well.
Whereas excitement comes from perceiving that a future outcome or event will go well and be enjoyable.
And unfortunately,
Our brains have a negative bias,
So it tends to get fixated on that negative outcome.
So it's important to be able to recognize this,
Override it,
And open up your perspective as to what is possible and all the ways it could go favorably.
So I invite you to think about something in your life that you've been holding back on.
Perhaps it's a dream that feels a bit out of reach or something that you've been wanting to create.
Where you're not backing yourself or you're not taking action.
Okay,
So we're going to move into the process.
So close your eyes down for a moment.
And tuning into what it is that you're wanting to create.
Feeling to the belief.
That comes up around it.
What are all those what ifs that come up?
They keep you small.
Maybe it's,
What if I'm not enough?
What if it doesn't turn out the way I thought?
What if I get rejected?
And notice how that feels in your body.
It's likely to feel quite constricted,
Unmotivating.
Low energy.
That you tune into what that is for you.
Really feel that.
Okay,
Great.
Well done.
Letting that go now,
We're done with that.
Now tune your attention to your breath.
Feel your body breathing.
You might like to place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
Begin to take slow deep breaths into your belly.
What we're doing here is bringing you into coherency.
We often move out of that when we tap into.

All the things that might go wrong So breathing into your belly.
And slowly exhaling.
And begin to extend your exhalation.
Bye if you count.
You might like to count into your belly for four.
And out for a count of seconds.
Allowing your breath to regulate you.
Taking three more of these deeper breaths.
Okay.
So now I want you to flip those YFs.
Tuning in again to what you want.
What if I succeed?
What if it turns out even better than I expected?
What if I am well received?
And you can add in any other positive what ifs that you wish.
And say those to yourself,
Whether out loud or in your mind.
What could be possible?
Notice how that feels in the body when you say that.
What would it feel like if things went well?
You may even have a vision of a successful outcome.
Or maybe you feel a sense of excitement building.
Or maybe it's a sense of calm or freedom in your body.
Whatever that feeling is,
Let it increase.
From this place What is one small step that you could take?
Towards that positive future.
And I invite you to set that as an intention.
Something that you can do in the next 24 to 48 hours.

You've shifted your energy and your belief about yourself and you've set a positive intention.
