This practice is to balance your energy system which can also be known as your chakra system.
Chakra is a wheel or disc of energy and the seven main centers lie where your major nerve bundles come together along the front and back of your spine.
They correlate to different emotions,
Organs,
Glands and your body systems.
They are energetic connection points that have their own distinct vibrational frequency that you can tune into.
They receive,
Assimilate and express life force energy.
These energy centers are incredibly powerful.
When out of balance they can cause physical and emotional disruption that can affect the entire whole and when in balance can keep your life force vital,
Integrated and healthy.
This practice is designed to bring them into flow and coherency operating together balanced in vibrational harmony.
Take a moment to get comfortable making any last-minute adjustments.
Close down your eyes or have your gaze soft and downward.
Invite yourself into your space.
Feel your body connected to the ground,
A place of stability,
A sense of connecting you to the earth.
Your neck long and in line with your spine.
Lift up slightly through the crown of your head creating a spaciousness through each vertebrae.
Let your posture whether seated or lying has a sense of elongation so the energy can move freely up and down your spine.
You might like to sense that there's an invisible string gently pulling you upwards then connecting to the base of your spine.
See another invisible string drawing down into the earth connecting you to above and below.
Allow your shoulders to drop back and down so you're open through your front body,
Your chest and your heart.
Create a sense of centeredness,
Presence and openness and with this beautiful posture you've created allowing yourself to soften.
Letting anything you're holding melt away.
Your body relaxed and steady and scan through from the crown of your head to the base of your spine and can you get a sense of where there might be any stagnation or blockages running through your energetic system.
You might see or sense this or it could just be a feeling of awareness.
Bring your awareness to your breath,
Feel the soft flow of air as it moves in and out of your body.
Invite it to deepen and to become smooth and even.
Breathing steadily bring your attention to the crown of your head.
On your next breath in move your awareness down to the very base of your spine.
Exhale bring your awareness back to your crown.
Breathe in awareness moves down to the base of your spine.
Exhale it comes back up to the crown.
Your breath and your awareness moving together up and down your spine.
You might notice that your breath softens naturally yet your awareness continues to move up and down your spinal channel.
It might almost feel like a floating feeling as the awareness of your breath drops down and then rises up again.
Bring your attention to rest at the very base of your spine.
This is your base energy center connected to stability,
Your security,
Your connection to the earth.
The base is your center and foundation.
Place the point of light like a tiny star right at the very bottom of your spine.
This light holds the qualities of clearing,
Calm and healing.
As you continue to breathe allow that light to gently expand.
It begins to flood the whole area with its radiance clearing any dense energy,
Any stagnation from your base chakra.
So you can feel grounded and safe.
Have the intention for it to come into balance and harmony.
Bring your awareness to your sacral chakra at the top of your sacrum just below the navel.
This is your center of pleasure and creativity.
Place the point of light.
Allow it to expand.
Get a sense that it clears,
Balances and harmonizes.
Bringing in joy,
Flow and ease.
Your awareness comes up to your solar plexus between the bottom of your sternum and your navel towards the back of the spine.
Place a tiny star of light.
This is your center of transformation and assimilation.
Allow the light to expand and flood the area with illumination.
It dissolves any worries or fears and brings in confidence,
Courage and inner strength.
Move up to the area right in the center of your chest,
Your heart chakra.
This represents love,
Compassion and kindness.
Place the point of light there.
And as it expands,
Allow it to melt away any heaviness or denseness around your heart.
It brings a quality of lightness,
Your heart radiating with peace and love.
Balanced and in harmony.
Awareness moves up to your throat and place a point of light right in the center of your throat area.
This is your center of communication and it has an expansive quality.
Let the light flood your throat.
You might even sense it expands out of your throat in all directions with a sense of vastness,
Expansiveness.
It clears any blockages in your throat so you can speak and communicate clearly and with ease.
Let your attention move up to your brow right between your eyebrows and then move approximately two inches back to the midbrain where your pineal gland lies.
Place the tiny star right there.
This center has a magnetic quality.
It represents your intuition,
Inner knowing and imagination.
Allow it to illuminate the brain with light.
As it does so,
It melts away any fogginess or stuck energy around the mind and brings in clarity and focus.
Opening you up to co-create and manifest your dreams.
Lastly,
Let your attention rest just above your crown.
Place the final point of light.
Your crown connects you to your higher self and universal wisdom.
You may sense that as the light expands,
It moves upwards,
Connecting with the divine.
Now feel,
Sense or see all of these points lit up together,
Fully illuminated.
They pulse gently together,
All clear in harmony,
Balance and flow.
Rest here for the last few minutes of your practice,
Sitting in the light.
As we close the practice,
Bring your palms together at the heart space.
Rub them gently together and place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
Breathe into your hands and into your seat.
Make sure you're fully grounded again as you bring your awareness back into your space.
You might like to take some intuitive gentle movement.
And when you're ready,
Gradually begin to open your eyes.
Chakra is balanced in harmony and flow.
