Welcome to this guided meditation to help you build trust in yourself and in others.
You know,
Your friends,
Your family and your co-workers.
As much as you want to believe it sometimes,
You do not accomplish anything in this world by yourself.
It takes you and everyone else,
Working together to the best of your abilities to create the world as you and others experience it today.
Having a healthy level of trust in yourself and in others is important for accomplishing your goals in the most efficient way.
Trust allows you to rely on other people and your expertise which frees up time for you to do other things.
Trust allows you to feel comfortable depending on other people and their expertise which strengthens your relationships.
Trust helps you be accountable for what you say you will do for others which helps you build your character.
Trust is a great way to build confidence in yourself and in others.
Without a doubt,
Trust can be a great way to reduce your stress.
And as a reminder,
It allows you to do more efficiently.
With this meditation,
You will build trust in yourself and in others.
It's a beautiful visualization guided meditation.
At this time,
I'll invite you to set an intention for why you wish to build trust in yourself and in others.
Think about how you would show up in the world if you had more trust in yourself,
In your abilities and in others and their abilities to create a better world for everyone.
That will help guide you as you set your intention.
Now sit or lay down comfortably wherever you are.
Make sure you will not be disturbed for the next couple of minutes as you do this visualization meditation to build trust in yourself and in others.
If you are in a group setting,
That's wonderful.
Meditating together with others allows for a truly unique experience.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale all the air out through your mouth as you allow your entire body to begin to relax.
Repeat the same breathing exercise,
Again allowing your entire body to relax even further while you exhale.
Again,
Breathe in deeply and exhale all the air out,
Allowing your body to relax some more.
At this time,
You may need to adjust your position to match how relaxed you have become.
Breathe in deeply again and exhale and continue to relax.
One more time,
Deep breath in,
Exhale and continue to let go of any tensions and distractions.
This is the time to focus on building trust in yourself and in others.
Now shift your attention to your toes and allow a warming sensation and blue light to move in through your toes,
To your feet,
Past your ankles and up your legs and thighs.
Now visualize the light,
Circle your waist and move up your belly and lower back to your chest and upper back,
Through your shoulders and then circle your neck.
Now visualize the warming sensation and blue light,
Engulf your entire head and face.
The warming sensation is serene and healing and the light represents trust in yourself and in others.
Take a deep breath in and bring your attention to your heart.
Observe your heartbeat for a moment as you allow the blue light to get bigger and bigger and bigger,
Engulfing your entire body.
See your entire body floating in this blue light of trust.
Now the blue light begins to lift off and float through space as you roll around in this blue light.
You may jump,
You may run.
Feel free to play as you wish in this blue light of trust.
At this time,
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Think of people and experiences that have eroded your trust.
See the experiences in people as black spots appearing outside of the blue light you are floating in.
Now bring those black spots into your blue light of trust.
Allow the blue light of trust to transform the black spots into blue spots.
You need to be patient here.
For the transformation to work as efficiently as it can,
Bring your attention to your heartbeat and say to yourself,
I trust myself and others.
Continue to focus on your heartbeat as the black spots are transformed.
If you wish,
You may continue to repeat the words,
I trust myself and others at any time.
When you feel distracted,
Simply bring your attention back to your heartbeat.
Once the black spots have transformed,
Breathe in the blue light of trust.
See this blue light fill up every single cell in your body.
This blue light is a reminder of the importance of having trust in yourself and in others.
The blue light is a reminder of your ability to trust yourself and others,
Which has many benefits,
Including building confidence,
Building character,
And being more efficient in accomplishing your goals.
Remember,
You can always return to this meditation when you feel you lack trust in yourself or in someone or in something.
Breathe in and on your exhale,
See the blue light fade away from around you.
Now slowly wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Take a deep breath in and exhale while slowly opening your eyes and noticing something around you that you were not aware of before you began this meditation.
Be grateful that you now remember what having trust in yourself and in others feels like.
Now go on to the rest of your day and be the most trusting person you have ever been.
