Hello,

My friend.

Welcome to this guided meditation to help you gain focus and clarity before starting your day.

We will use your imagination and a simple mantra to accomplish this task.

Before we begin,

It is important to remember that life is a journey in which you are constantly transitioning from one state of being to another.

You are not static.

This means being focused and having a sense of clarity throughout your day does not stop at the end of this meditation.

Your level of focus and clarity is constantly changing.

This means you need to be aware of its level so you can consciously decide to change it or simply let it be as is.

Take this time now to set an intention for why you wish to improve your focus and clarity.

You may think of how attaining your desired level of focus and clarity will help you be the best version of yourself today.

Now that you have set your intention,

You need to get into a relaxed state.

To do this,

You will complete a unique breathing technique.

You will inhale deeply and exhale forcefully by moving your belly button to your spine.

We will complete this five times.

Sit up straight in your chair with your spine directly underneath your neck and head.

Relax your shoulders so they are separated from your neck as much as they can be.

Place your feet flat on the ground and place your palms gently on your lap.

You will complete the first breath now.

Inhale deeply for a count of three,

Two,

One and then exhale forcefully by moving your belly button to your spine.

We will repeat.

Inhale deeply for a count of three,

Two,

One and then exhale forcefully again.

For the third time,

Inhale deeply for a count of three,

Two,

One and exhale forcefully again.

At this time,

I'd like to invite you to close your eyes gently.

Adjust your body into a more comfortable position as you should be feeling a little more relaxed.

We will complete our fourth breath next.

Inhale deeply for a count of three,

Two,

One and exhale forcefully.

And one last time,

Inhale deeply for a count of three,

Two,

One and exhale forcefully bringing your belly button to your spine.

Now relax and bring your awareness to your breathing.

Allow your breathing to occur normally.

Simply observe it.

Relax your tongue.

Move it away from the roof of your mouth.

Relax your facial muscles,

Your forehead,

Your eyelids,

Your jaws.

Now imagine yourself underneath a beautiful oak tree in a serene park.

The sun is about to set but it's rays still shine through the branches and leaves of the tree.

The shadow from the trees providing you shelter.

The wind is calm.

The sky is beginning to fill up with the most glorious sunset colors.

Hues of orange,

Red,

Yellow,

Brown.

Underneath the tree you are seated on a picnic chair with a book in your hand.

The book is filled with writings that hold a special meaning to you and you alone.

You open the book to read the writings but the writings are out of focus.

You can make out the color of the ink used to write and print the book but the words are not clear.

You cannot read any of them.

A fog appears around the book representing your level of focus and clarity right now.

You realize your thoughts are not fully present there with you underneath the tree as you attempt to read the words in the book.

You know what to do to fix this.

You know to say the mantra I am focusing on what I am doing right now.

I am focusing on what I am doing right now.

Repeat the mantra I am focusing on what I am doing right now.

Say the mantra one more time out loud or silently in your mind I am focusing on what I am doing right now.

As you say the mantra the fog disappears,

The writings in your book become clearer and the words come into focus.

You read the words and realize they tell a story of your life and the words are being written as you experience your life.

You now know you can write an amazing story beginning today.

You can write a story in which you are constantly improving your level of focus and clarity.

You know you can do this simply by focusing on what you are doing at every now moment.

You know to say the mantra before beginning a new task.

I am focusing on what I am doing right now.

You know to remind yourself when you find that your focus changes and it isn't at the level you wish it to be.

You can do this simply by repeating the mantra I am focusing on what I am doing right now.

You know you can say the mantra out loud.

You know you can say the mantra silently in your mind and your heart as many times as you wish.

Sit quietly with this knowing for a couple of breaths.

Now slowly wiggle your fingers.

Raise your hands and bring your palms together.

Rub your palms against each other as you generate some heat in between them.

Take a slightly deeper inhale than you normally do and then exhale gently.

Slowly open your eyes.

Pay attention to your surroundings and notice something that comes into focus for you at this time.

You now have the knowledge to go about your day with improved focus and clarity.

Use this knowledge to be the best version and expression of yourself.

Thank you for sharing this experience with me my friend.
