Getting comfortable in any position,

Supporting your body,

Creating a nice long tall spine,

Whether you're seated or laying down.

Starting to feel the breath,

The rise and fall of the chest and the belly.

Each breath that you take,

You start to really drop into that circular motion of the breath.

Breathing in,

Allowing that breath to travel down through the nose,

The throat,

Filling the chest,

Rib cage and belly.

Exhale,

Releasing the belly,

The rib cage,

The chest and exhaling back through the nose.

Being with the breath in this circular motion,

Breathing deeply,

Starting to bring some relaxation to the body.

Noticing where your thoughts are today,

Noticing any distractions,

Any emotions that have been coming up for you.

Just allowing them to be placed to the side of your meditation today.

And allowing yourself to fully drop into the space of yourself.

Continuing to breathe,

Starting to bring some awareness to the third eye.

The space between the eyebrows and up a little bit.

Start to open your mind's eye,

Bringing a beautiful forest path to your mind.

A tightly closed path with the trees surrounding you on either side and a skinny little dirt path as far as the eye can see.

Noticing the environment that you're in,

The gentle breeze blowing through the air,

Sweet smell of condensation,

Humidity,

Almost like it has just rained.

A low fog is settling and every step that you take,

You hear this beautiful crunch of your feet on the earth.

The branches touch your shoulders as you walk along the path.

Breathing with these sensations that are happening around you.

Noticing a little berry or a little berry tree beside you.

You gently pick one,

Place it in your mouth,

Tasting those beautiful sensations and flavors of whatever berry you picked.

Continuing on your walk,

You start to really tune into the sounds that are happening around you.

Maybe some birds are chirping,

Maybe you can hear the gentle rainfall,

Whatever it is.

Really paying close attention to all of your surroundings and continuing on this path.

As you continue walking,

You notice up ahead there's a gentle break in the trees and some light is starting to flood through.

Each step that you get closer,

It gets brighter and brighter and the fog starts to lift a little bit more.

Once you reach the end of the path and you walk through this beautiful golden archway of sunlight flooding through,

You approach a wide open clearing.

When you look left to right,

The tree line goes straight as far as the eye can see with a clear separation of this clearing.

Approaching this big wide open field,

There's trees beyond this tree line.

So there's trees further in the distance,

But you're in this big wide open field.

The grass is so dense and so plush.

Every step that you take,

You take it with this beautiful mindful release of the foot,

Sinking into the grass,

Sinking deeper into Mother Earth.

Looking up towards the sky,

This wide open magnificent blue sky is as far as the eye can see.

The sun is beating down,

But not in an uncomfortable heat.

In a comfortable settling of the sun warming your skin with a gentle breeze coming from the mountains far away.

Taking in all of your surroundings,

You decide to sit down resting your body on the grass,

Running your finger through each blade,

Nature's carpet,

Massaging your hands and bringing you this uplifting vibration of Mother Earth.

Slowly,

You run your fingers backwards into the sides,

Allowing your upper body to lay down,

Feeling this gentle embrace from Mother Earth as she cradles you with her ground.

Each blade of grass surrounds each nook and cranny of your body and you start to deepen a little bit more.

Feeling this incredible pulling sensation from the top of your head all the way down to your feet,

Like someone is pulling you into the ground.

The heaviness is falling through your body,

Relaxing each point on your body.

Feeling this wave of relaxation start to wash over you,

Head to toe.

You continue to breathe in this sweet,

Cool,

But warm air looking up at the sky,

Just noticing the vastness of the energy,

How you can be so connected and so open,

But also so incredibly grounded at the same time.

Breathing it in,

Feeling the belly,

You start to relax a little bit deeper,

Settling the body,

Settling the mind,

And allowing yourself to relax these next few minutes.

Noticing where your mind is,

Bringing any trailing thoughts back into your body,

Back into these sensations.

Continuing to breathe,

Noticing your body as a whole,

Feeling all of the sensations of grounding,

Expansion,

Relaxation,

Continuing to wash over your body.

Being gentle with yourself if you noticed your mind was trailing off.

Continuing to breathe a few more deep breaths,

Taking it all in.

As you are continuing to feel your body as a whole,

You allow this grounding,

Relaxation energy to continue with you throughout your day,

Knowing that you can be so incredibly grounded and connected to Mother Earth,

But also expansion through that crown chakra,

And connected to all that is.

Knowing that you can continue with relaxation through your breath,

Through your mindfulness,

And through any regular sensations throughout the day.

Knowing that it's time to say goodbye to this beautiful grassy pasture,

The beautiful tree line and path you walked,

The vast open sky.

You thank Mother Earth,

You thank the universe and all of the open energy for bringing that relaxation,

Grounding,

Expansion through your body today.

And whenever you're ready,

Take a few more deep breaths,

Sighing it out,

And then opening your eyes and continuing your day mindfully and connected.
