We're going to be talking about lunar energy.
And we're also going to be talking about our feelings.

This is a really interesting and powerful and beautiful and maybe challenging moon.

So how are you feeling today,

I'm curious.
I know how I'm feeling.
And it's been a really interesting time.
I started to feel the energy yesterday.
And I started to feel things like rumbling up inside of me.
Today is my birthday.
Oh,

And you're feeling all of this Scorpio energy.
How is it feeling for you?
Because Scorpio is opposing your sun right now.
Right?
So,
So is it our challenges coming up for you?
Do you have to kind of think about things in a new way?

You have your Venus in Scorpio and Mercury.
So is it stirring up feelings,
Maybe around friends or maybe like thoughts,
You know,
Maybe some cautious thoughts,
Or maybe thoughts around going deeper,
Going deeper to uncover some things that are going on in your life.

A mix of emotion,
A bit intense.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So,
So,
You know,
The moon cycles,
They bring up emotions,
They bring up emotions.
And what's so interesting about this particular moon is that this moon,
Which is highlighted in Taurus,
Also known as the flower moon,
Indigenous cultures have been celebrating for thousands of years,
Including the Druid culture and pagan cultures and the Wiccan cultures.
So all cultures that are really attuned to the natural cycles have been celebrating this flower moon,
Because this flower moon heralds the warm weather and heralds the growing season.
And so for so many cultures throughout time,
This has been a reflection period,
And a celebration of abundance,
And the coming of abundance and marking a bit of a new beginning.
So what's interesting is that it's not a new moon,
And it's really not a time for making intentions.
But it's a time to reflect,
And a time to celebrate.
Maybe you could celebrate where you were six months ago.
Maybe have a sense of appreciation,
Gratitude for where you've been,
And where you are now.
And then reflect on what emotional content is coming up for you.
A hesitation and letting go of things.
Yeah.
So,
So fixed signs like Scorpio,
Like Taurus,
Like Aquarius,
Like Leo,
They have a hard time letting go of things.
So during an intense moon activation,
In a fixed sign,
It can show us those places and spaces where we have trouble letting go of things.
Maybe old issues resurface for us to look at in a new way.
Or maybe,
You know,
Ruled by Mars and Pluto,
But the original ruler of Scorpio is Mars.
So there's a certain like cutting energy,
Or maybe a certain aggression in terms of feelings that may come up,
Or a bit of a need to take action.
But yet also feeling stuck.
Feeling stuck because maybe there's certain things that we need to let go of.
We need to let go of because there may be some power struggles in our lives.
So Scorpio,
The archetype of Scorpio,
Can show us where we may have power struggles in our lives,
Where we may have hidden power inside of us.
And it's not about having power over other people.
It's not about having,
You know,
Being manipulative over other people or having dominion over other people.
It's about empowering.
It's about empowering ourselves.
How do we empower ourselves without having power over someone else?
And sometimes it's about the way we hold something.
Maybe we need to hold something in a different way,
In a new way.
I know for me,
I had these dreams last night.
I normally don't dream.
And I had all of these really interesting dreams last night.
And the dream gave me a message around a situation that started to unravel today.
And that doesn't happen very often.
It's happened from time to time.
But it really woke me up to pay attention.
Not to make meaning or to try and put meaning on what was happening,
But to reflect on my emotions,
To stay closer to what I'm feeling without judgment.
So the moon gives us a really wonderful opportunity to be mindful,
To be mindful inside of our bodies,
To be mindful inside of our emotions,
And to align,
Align our thoughts with our emotions.
And notice what is bubbling up.
Those feelings that come up in regards to maybe challenging conversations.
Maybe there's tension in certain relationships.
Maybe there's disappointment.
Someone is showing up in a way that you're like,
Wait,
I would rather things go another way.
And it's about creating space,
Creating space for their decisions,
Creating space for the feelings they're going through,
Because we're all experiencing this moon.
It's not just you and me.
It's all of us collectively,
Right?
So it's that collective feeling to know,
To have compassion,
To have a certain sense of empathy that we're all going through something.
But even more importantly,
To tune in to the voice within.
Tune in to the inner guru inside to notice what are our feelings trying to communicate.
And it's not about judgment.
It's about creating space inside of our bodies and allowing for connections,
Like observing those connections.
We may feel a charge today.
There may be a charge of emotion,
Or maybe some people feel exhausted.
Maybe there's a certain wipeout that could be happening emotionally.
And if that's the case,
You want to take good care of yourself.
Coming here is wonderful.
Sitting in reflection and contemplation,
Finding your center,
All good things to do for self-care.
Journaling,
Just to get things out of your mind and maybe see it from a new perspective.
See it in a new way.
In a new way.
Embody it in a new way.
Because the moon is here to teach us.
The moon is a luminary,
Much like the sun.
The moon is a luminary,
And it will highlight,
And it will magnify,
And it will bring things up to the surface for us to learn,
For us to understand,
For us to look at a new way.
So if you're sailing through today and just feeling like zippy and free and wonderful,
Amazing,
Enjoy it.
Then you are in the flower moon place.
You're in the place where the flowers are budding out of the soil,
And you're seeing spring in the air.
Because one of the interesting things about this Scorpio full moon happening in Taurus is that when you go to sleep,
We realize,
When we go to sleep,
We realize that the earth is alive and that things are coming to life all around us,
For those of us who live in a seasonal climate.
And so,
You know,
If we've had winter and all of a sudden now,
Like,
Spring is here,
There's a real significant difference from the dead of winter to the aliveness of spring.
And the full moon during this time reminds us that there is life deep inside.
There is life deep inside of us,
And there are things that are growing inside of us.
And the full moon is here to awaken,
To magnify,
To illuminate what is growing inside of us,
So that we can understand it,
So that we can make new choices,
So that we could either stand behind certain parts of ourselves and empower that,
Or maybe empower certain relationships in our lives,
Or maybe make certain decisions.
The other side of the moon is to let things go.
And so,
Stephanie,
In the hesitation that you may be feeling to let things go,
Uncertainty,
Then I would say,
Just stay in the listening.
Because if you don't know what to do,
Don't do anything.
Because the moon is ruled by Mars,
Be careful and cautious to not react.
You want to respond.
Let what is happening be a learning process.
You don't have to make decisions right away.
If you feel like you do need to make decisions right away,
See what you can do to give yourself some time.
Give yourself some time,
Because this process is going to last all weekend.
This process may have lasted all week for you.
Don't know what's being highlighted in your life.
If you're aware of your astrology,
If you know what your rising is,
If you have your chart in front of you,
Look for the house of where Scorpio is.
And when you know the house of where Scorpio is,
It may provide you even more information in terms of what may be happening.
And you may know very clearly what's happening without going to your chart.
But sometimes when you understand where the moon activation is,
It could give you a little more information.
It could kind of help you see a situation maybe from a different perspective.

Definitely very proud of myself and not so afraid of the future.
Well,
That's really wonderful.
Oh,

That sounds so good.
Sitting with all the emotions and any shadows.
Brilliant.
So brilliant.
Really,
The best work we could do is to sit with our emotions.
And sitting with our emotions doesn't mean that we're sulking in our emotions.
Sitting with our emotions means that we're allowing things to shift and change and grow.
We're allowing those things that are in the dark to be seen.
You're allowing those deeper feelings to reveal themselves so that we have a greater sense of awareness.
With that sense of awareness,
Those things that have been lingering inside no longer have the same power over us.
We have more power over it.
And the more that we could sit with what we're feeling,
With a sense of curiosity,
With the ability to just watch and not judge,
Those deeper feelings will shift and change and morph,
Especially when you're not in the mind.
Right?
So that's one of the beautiful things about tuning into the emotional body is we're getting out of the thoughts of the mind of how we want to feel,
How we should feel,
What did that feeling mean,
What's going on inside.
All of that is the mental mind trying to figure it all out.
But when we have a day like today and this weekend like yesterday,
It's a day of emotion.
And the emotions can't be figured out logically.
You don't want to do that.
It doesn't feel right in the body.
It may create even more stress and it may create situations that you may be sorry for later.
And Mercury is still in retrograde.
Right?
So there's a big reflection pool that's happening with this moon as well.
So allow yourself to be inside that reflection pool and just notice what is surfacing without a sense of taking it personally and with your breath,
Create space.
Like the body is like the earth.
It's the container for our emotional content,
For our emotional body.
And when we use our breath and we use our awareness,
Our imagination,
We can create more space inside of our bodies.
And when we create more space inside of our bodies,
We're actually going a little bit deeper into the stories inside of our nervous system.
And when we can go deeper into the stories inside of our nervous system and allow those nuggets to surface,
Like the effervescence of what's going on inside to surface and just notice what it is,
Like just watch what it is.
Things will start to move.
Things will start to shift and you'll be able to see things in a new way.
So as we're talking about all of this,
Just wanted to also acknowledge too,
The Taurus energy and the sun being in Taurus.
So to also notice what is growing inside of you,
Right?
What is growing inside of you?
How are you growing because of what's going on emotionally?
What challenges may be coming to the surface that is in service of your growth?
Because the more awareness you can bring to that,
The more ability you'll have for change,
The more ability you'll have to make those changes,
Those positive changes in your life.
Lydia,
Scorpio is in your fourth house.
Oh yeah,
Yeah.
Wow.
Perfect.
And you're feeling it in regards to your family and releasing the pain of the past.
You are doing such great work,
Lydia.
Yes,
Exactly.
Right.
And that's exactly how it works.
And what's interesting about the houses is sometimes it's the house and it's very specific to that house.
And there are other times or aspects that are being made to the house.
So it could be a layering of things.
It could be a layering of things.
But the fourth house is your psyche.
It's your inner dwelling.
It's your body.
It's your home.
And it's your ancestors.
It's your family.
It's your childhood.
It's those experiences that may have formed you on some level or maybe have formed your unconscious,
Patterning,
Fears,
Limiting beliefs.
And this moon is a gift,
A gift to highlight those things that you want to finally let go of.
And I say finally let go of because it's an eclipse.
And an eclipse happens.
So there's always a full moon and a new moon.
Every month we get the full moon and the new moon.
And some months we get two of the full moon or two of the new moons.
Like last month we had two new moons,
Which was like wild.
But normally it's one.
And to understand what it is that you're letting go of at this time is really important because it's an eclipse.
So an eclipse means that there is going to be a significant relationship between the moon and the lunar.
And the lunar node that is the south node that is in Scorpio right now holds a lot of karmic content.
And so from a spiritual standpoint,
From an astrological standpoint,
There's a lot of karma that is being released,
Especially where the Scorpio energy is for you,
Where that south node is for you.
And there is the ability to finally say,
I'm done with this.
Whatever that is,
Whatever story that's been living inside of your nervous system and you're finally done with,
Now's the time to make that break,
To make that cut.
Again,
Like Mars energy ruling Scorpio,
Mars is the warrior,
Cuts things out,
Says,
I've had enough.
But do that with love,
Right?
Do that with compassion.
Do that with kindness.
Do that with generosity.
Do that from a place of feeling empowered because then you're not cutting off the love.
You're not cutting off the compassion.
You're not cutting off those parts of yourself that feed you in some way.
And you're not replacing what you're cutting off with anger or resentment.
You're learning from it and you're making decisions.
You're drawing boundaries,
Maybe even having forgiveness around situations or people that are going through their own things or family members that did the best they could,
Regardless of your scorecard of how well they did,
But that they did the best they could because we're all human beings,
Right?
We're all human beings doing what we need to do.
Oh,
Jamar,
Yes.
Trying your best mentally how to transition.
So sit with your feelings and sometimes learning,
Like you say,
Mentally to learn how to transition.
Sometimes the process of just sitting with the feelings and creating space in the body I know it sounds so simple.
I understand you have to think logically as well.
I totally get it.
And allow the logic to come after this weekend.
Could you do that?
Is that possible?
To wait for the logic to come after this weekend.
Allow yourself to just notice what you're feeling and to just be aware of what you're feeling and be curious about what you're feeling because your feelings will not only shift and change,
It will empower your logic,
Right?
So emotional intelligence is real.
Intuitive intelligence is real.
And we get our emotional intelligence not from logic,
But from our emotional body.
Right?
So you will be able to think through things logically once you've nurtured the soil inside your emotional body.
Nurturing the soil and dealing with that relationship separation after 10 years.
So there's a lot to sit with.
There's a lot to sit with.
I totally feel for you.
I get it.
There's a lot to sit with.
And sitting with it without reacting is the key.
Sitting with it without feeling like you need to do anything right now is the key.
Because there may be information around that relationship that maybe you haven't seen or felt just yet.
Wisdom around the relationship that you haven't seen or felt just yet.
So allowing yourself to create space for whatever you're feeling is also going to open up how to proceed,
How to deal with it,
How you need to deal with it,
To deal with it,
How you want to deal with it.
Because we can get so mired in someone else's feelings.
We can get so mired in how we should be in a situation that we lose ourselves.
And it's not about right or wrong.
It's not about that at all.
It's about relationship.
It's the relationship to ourselves and our own emotions.
It's the relationship that we're in with someone else.
And it's allowing for our own inner wisdom to guide us.
And when we go too quickly into trying to figure it out and having an answer or being logical about it,
It's like we're skipping a step.
And we need to nourish the soil.
And right now,
Taurus is like,
Nourish the soil.
Water your plants.
Keep your soil moist.
You want things to grow.
You want to be fed.
You want to be nourished.
Plant those seeds that you want to eat.
Plant those seeds you want to sow.
But keep that soil nourished.
Keep that emotional body nourished.

What is calling to you?
Open up to that.
But you know,
Allow for the weekend to unfold.
Allow for the weekend to unfold.
Yes,
Jamar,
Vengefulness is never good.
You don't want to deal with the lords of karma.
You know,
It's not the long answer.
It may be the short answer.
The short answer that can get you into trouble,
That can get others into trouble,
That will create more pain.
If you've already experienced so much pain in a relationship,
Maybe now's the time to find the compassion.
And it's the compassion for yourself as well as someone else.
Do you have the courage to be vulnerable?
Being vulnerable is also another theme inside of Scorpio.
Scorpio is all about finding the hidden power within.
But the hidden power within is about the deeper parts of self that we allow to transform.
When we can go out of our comfort zone,
When we can feel vulnerable.
Because that's when we find our true courage.
And that's when we find our true strength.
Because you're creating a better relationship with you.
And that's the most important thing,
Establishing a better relationship with you.
Because before you could have a relationship with anyone else,
All the wise people always say that you have to have a better relationship with yourself.
And acknowledging and being with your emotional body is the key to that.
Yeah,
That's a good idea.
Work your crystals.
Work your crystals.
It's a really,
Really good idea.
So under the energy of this full moon,
I invite you.
I invite you to find a comfortable seat.
To find a comfortable seat and to tune in to the energy of the full moon.
And to tune in.
Tune in to your breath.
Tune in to your inner world.
Finding that natural,
Easy rhythm with each inhale and each exhale.
This is your time to tune in to your emotional body.
To listen at a deeper level.
The invitation that is here for us because of this full moon in Scorpio.
A very passionate full moon that can bring up a lot of passionate intensity.
And to notice how your breath can create more space for those feelings inside of you.
So just take a moment to be aware of how your breath can create more space inside of your body.
Maybe imagining the energy of the full moon above you.
The luminescent energy.
You may notice a tingling at the top of your head as you do.
Bring the wisdom of that moon energy inside your body with each breath.
Imagine breathing in the light wisdom of the full moon inside your body.
Notice what you're feeling and where you're feeling it.
Allow the light of the moon to bring more awareness to where you may be holding pain,
Frustration,
Anger,
Maybe even tension,
Constriction.
Become curious and work with this luminescent awareness in your emotional body with each breath.
Notice how you can create more space inside as you sit with what feels like whatever is true for you at this time.
Moving from the mind down into the sensations of your body.
And on the next inhalation,
I'd like you to imagine bringing the energy of the moon down to the bottom of your seat.
Maybe even down through the bottom of your feet to ground you.
Notice how you can use your breath to ground your energy down to the earth.
As you ground your energy down into the earth,
Notice what you would like to surrender into the abundant resilience of the earth,
Releasing any and all emotions that no longer serve you down through your root chakra,
Down through the base of your spine,
Down out the bottom of your feet.
You may even feel a magnetic pull from the earth below you,
Taking in and receiving any emotions that no longer serve you,
Any fears,
Any feelings you want to transform.
Using your breath to create space in your body as you do.
Breathing into your heart center to maybe generate more heart energy,
Creating a greater sense of light within you and maybe even a greater sense of spaciousness within you as you breathe into your heart,
As you're surrendering anything you no longer need through the base of your spine.
Notice if you could do those two things at the same time,
Surrendering into the earth and opening up,
Expanding your heart center with each inhale and each exhale.
Now what I'd like you to do as well,
I invite you to breathe deeply into your belly.
And for some people you may want to put your hand on your belly and your hand on your heart as we do a little breath work practice to inhale deeply into the belly,
Feeling the belly expand,
Allowing the breath to rise into our heart center and pause to feel the fullness of your breath inside of you.
Noticing your emotions as you hold your breath for just a moment and then releasing with an ah,
Ah,
Releasing fully and completely so that your belly actually caves in inside of you.
Breathing,
Exhaling all the air out and pausing at the end,
Just a moment,
Thinking about what you want to bring into your life and then inhaling again into the belly,
Feeling the belly expand,
Noticing how your breath rises into your heart to feel the fullness of your breath in your body,
To feel the fullness of the moon,
The light of the moon inside and pausing for just a moment to notice and then exhaling with a deep,
Complete ah,
Fully and completely exhaling your whole breath and feeling that concave feeling in your belly and pausing when pausing when you've emptied out completely,
Pausing for just a moment to think about what you want to bring into your life.
Inhaling into your belly,
Feeling your belly expand,
Feeling that breath rise into your heart,
Feeling the fullness of the moon,
The wisdom of the moon inside of you and pausing for just a moment,
Notice whatever you're noticing,
Releasing whatever you no longer need once and for all with one big ah,
Releasing fully and completely,
Emptying out your belly,
Feeling that concave feeling,
Pausing and then going back to a natural easy breath and just taking this moment to notice the energy inside of your body,
To notice what is shifting inside of you,
Notice what's growing inside of you,
What you're able to create more room for inside with each breath,
To honor what you're ready to transform as you allow for more space in your emotional body,
Watching,
Noticing,
Reflecting and releasing any feelings that no longer serve your body.
Notice if you can listen so deeply to the feelings inside that you can bring your awareness and your space so that you feel better in your body,
Asking your body how would you rather feel,
Listening for how the sensations of how your body would rather feel and breathing into that,
Feeling the light of the moon inside as you do,
The light energy which brings the wisdom,
Creating space for yourself with each breath.
At this time I'd also like to acknowledge that there are a hundred meditators here that are all experiencing the magic of this moon at this time.
Everyone is going through something incredibly different,
But we're all here feeling it together and how special that is.
I'd also like to acknowledge that there's a shared energy because we're all here experiencing this together.
The shared energy is an energy of healing,
An energy of releasing,
An energy of transforming,
Transmuting together,
Surrendering and empowering.
Surrender what you no longer need to the power of this room at this time,
Connecting energetically to everyone that's here,
Feeling the energy inside of you and the energy all around you and breathing one continuous breath together.
The breath inside of you,
The breath all around you and breathing one continuous breath together.
Just noticing what that feels like and breathing into your heart center,
Giving yourself some compassion,
Self-compassion for whatever you're going through now.
Breathing in self-love,
Breathing in self-compassion.
And for those of you that are feeling the energy of sharing your love with others,
To send your love out to those who may need it at this time,
Who may need to feel love at this time so that they can love themselves more.
