When I know what makes me feel safe, I can feel safe in any setting. Asserting my value for myself first can help me interact and shine my best out into the world wherever I am. This video explains how when we feel good enough, we can bring our best into our encounters.

Let's talk about letting your guard down.

A lot of times when we meet someone new,

We have a specific like.

Stuff we're going to talk about,

Stuff we're not going to talk about,

Testing the waters,

Checking to see if they're accepting.

That their acceptance makes us feel safe.

And so once we feel safe,

We can talk more freely about whatever it is that we do or how we feel or those kinds of things.

What does it take for you to let your guard down?

Because if you're waiting for something from someone else,

Chances are you're.

.

.

Not really feeling it from yourself.

If you know that what you do is awesome and it's like you're thrilled about it.

And that you feel good about your life.

Safety there's no reason to feel unsafe to share but if you in yourself feel questioning of your own worth value or whatever then what you're gonna do next is well all of us okay not just you i'm not like you you know but like what is a tendency for people to do next is to project that by thinking about what this person is gonna think about me when they see me.

So you're creating the vision of you in their eyes and making it bad,

You know,

Or judging yourself through a version of them that you are creating.

By writing this story of that.

That's a lot.

Good for you for being so creative.

So where does it come back to?

We feel most safe in letting our guard down when we feel most confident in who we are.

We feel most confident in who we are when we let go of the stories of not being good enough.

And the more safe we feel expressing the true us in the world.

The more that will come back to us.

The same.

I feel good.

The world feels good about me.

You know,

I love what I do.

People love what I do and come back for more.

Let's take some time today and think about your guard.

And when are you putting it up?

And what makes you let it down?

And what do you need?

That you don't have yet but that you can give yourself.

And what situations can you put yourself in where you feel most safe to do that?

Okay?

You are awesome.
