Welcome to day six.
Thanks for being here.
So today we're talking about directing the mind to find what's enjoyable in this moment.
And a cool question I think that you can ask yourself throughout the day is,
How am I enjoying this moment of being alive?
You're giving your mind a puzzle.
It's got to find something and it takes your mind away from thinking about suffering in some way,
Thinking about what's bad,
Thinking about what's stressful,
What do I have to do?
Or just,
You know,
Basically the mind gets into trouble when it's bored.
So let's give it good things to do.
Okay,
So again,
Just throughout the day today,
Ask yourself,
How am I enjoying this moment of being alive?
And there has to be an answer.
The answer is not,
I'm not.
In every bad situation,
There is something that's the best part of it.
In every bad day,
There's the best part.
Every bad day has a best part.
But I'm not suggesting that you're having a bad day.
And I sure hope that you're not.
Because remember,
Right now you're just watching me.
And that's nice.
So,
You know,
There's an easy answer,
I hope.
How am I enjoying this moment of being alive?
What's good here?
Because the more that you train your mind to focus on what's good,
The more you will be present and feel positive.
So today's task is to work on that.
Let me know how it goes.
