Thanks for tuning in today.
Take a moment just to allow yourself to find the seat that works best for you.
Understand it's just the first few moments in the meditation.
So it's subject to change and develop and deepen as we go.
Maybe the eyes are already closed.
Maybe they're half closed.
Maybe they're focused on one point.
Whatever you find,
Allow yourself to be in this place of observation.
Notice the texture of your breath.
And notice the release of excess tension,
Whether it be in the forehead or in the space around the eyebrows.
Whether it's the eyelids themselves or the space behind your eyeballs.
Maybe it's somewhere in the cheekbones or behind the ears,
In the jaw.
Maybe it's in the throat or in the collarbones or in the wrapping of your ribcage.
Allow the observation to move more inward without any extra effort.
Allow the effort that you've already put into your day,
Into your life,
To start to work for you.
You can allow your mental space to be in this place of wonderment,
This place of awe for everything that it compromised,
That composes your human experience.
In this moment of reflection,
There is room to observe our cyclical nature.
The things that come up also are the things that come down.
There can be this sense of connection with you and everything else in nature.
Just as the sun rises,
The sun will also set.
And just as the clouds pull up the water from the earth,
They will also send it down through the rain.
Notice the texture of your breath.
Notice it move the same way the wind moves across the earth.
Allow there to be a continuous release of tension so that your earthly body is more and more connected and rooted to its source.
Allow that deepening of space between an inhalation and the turning point of an exhalation.
Release any grips,
Any attachments you have to the body and to the mind.
Release space of what was.
Release the space of will be.
Take an inhale.
I am.
Exhale.
Start to open the eyes.
Taking one more breath in together and one more breath out.
Thank you.
