This style is inspired by Yoga Nidra, the practice of watching the body relax in a still position. The listener can find a comfortable laying postion for optimal effect. The goal here is to simply observe the functions of the body without intervention. To treat the body as if it was foreign, and yet it is perserved in the stillness.

You want to get started here?

Thank you for taking the time to meditate.

This meditation will focus on relaxing your body and your body skin.

Allow yourself to lay comfortably on the floor,

Flat,

Without any obstruction around your arms and legs.

Take a moment to clear out the space.

Allow the body to lay down,

Flat.

And then you can lift your head up,

Looking down at your body,

Seeing that everything is even.

Come back to relaxing the body down.

Focusing on the center of your navel,

Let your belly relax.

Letting the belly go like jelly.

And then from here,

Take a big breath in,

Bringing in a new wave of sensation.

And then an exhale,

Feel a sense of release,

Relaxing the body,

Letting all the tension go.

Again,

That inhale,

Full,

New wave of sensation.

And then an exhale,

Letting it go.

There's a thin line of contact between your body and the floor.

Simply sense this thin line of contact.

As you continue to breathe and relax,

Allow that thin layer of contact to become thinner and thinner.

Allowing the body,

The heaviness of the body,

To weigh on the ground.

Imagine the floor was lifting you up as you were settling down into the gravity.

Feel the lightness of your belly letting it go.

Allow that lightness to travel.

Allow the breath to move between the chest.

Allow the breath to move around your collarbone.

Allow the breath to move around your neck.

Feeling the breath travel the collar of your spine,

The inhale,

And exhale traveling it down your back.

Allow the eyes to be closed and the face relaxed.

Allow your facial features to relax,

Relaxing your eyebrows,

Cheekbones,

Jaw.

Feel the texture of breath moving through your throat.

Allow your throat to relax all the way down to your hips.

Allow your torso to relax.

Allow your arms to soften away from the sockets.

Relax your arms.

Relax where your arms connect,

Releasing the elbow joint,

Relaxing your wrists,

Relaxing your palms.

Allow the fingers to relax from the sockets,

Relaxing your shoulders,

Relaxing your elbow,

Relaxing your wrists,

Relaxing your fingers.

Allow the waistline to relax,

The torso relaxed,

The upper half of your body relaxed.

All of the physical effort has been gone.

You might visualize the legs and allow them to relax.

Allow your right leg to relax.

Your right buttocks,

Right hamstring,

Right calf,

Right heel.

Relax.

Allow your right quadriceps,

Your right knee,

Your right shin,

Your right ankle,

Your right toes.

Relax.

Relax your left leg,

Your left hip,

Left buttocks,

Left hamstring,

Left calf,

Left heel.

Allow it all to relax.

Feeling the texture of your breath moving subtly,

Freely and without effort.

Relaxing the left quad,

The left knee,

The left shin,

The left ankle.

Relax your left toes.

Allow the sole of your feet to relax.

Away from the crown of your head,

The lower half is relaxed.

Relaxing the mind,

The space between the eyebrows soften.

I am not my body.

My body is relaxed.

I am not my body.

My body is relaxed.

I am not my body.

My body is relaxed.

I am not my body.

My body is relaxed.

I am not my body.

My body is relaxed.

I am the relaxation.

I am the release.

I am freedom.

I am infinite.

Bringing new energy in the body.

Take a big full inhale.

And an exhale.

The time you take for yourself honors the time that we take for others.

Thank you.

Really enjoyed this one. Nice scan with unique prompts for relaxation and some breath work. I agree with the other reviewer on liking the background music.

I loved this. Was different. The low bassy sound in the background works for me to stay within the meditation and I really enjoyed the voice. The sound quality isn't the best but I really appreciate the intention and voice and guide in general. Thanks.
