Welcome to this meditation.

This guided meditation is designed to increase mental focus.

Please be sure to never do this meditation when driving or doing anything except for making time for just yourself.

Focus on yourself.

When you sharpen your ability to focus,

You'll sharpen your memory.

You'll create clarity of your vision.

You'll achieve heightened levels of creativity.

And with practice and over time,

You'll have an unshakable inner peace.

Take a position where you're laying down,

Arms relaxed,

Hips relaxed.

Close your eyes.

Begin to slow your breathing.

Slow your inhale down,

Deep and slow.

Slow your exhale down,

Deep and slow.

Slow and deep in.

Slow and deep out.

Your breaths are long.

Your breaths are deep.

And the time between breaths is longer,

Slower and calmer.

The first step in increasing mental focus is the breath.

Hear your breath.

Feel your breath.

Every exhale calms the mind.

Every exhale slows the heartbeat.

Your heart begins to beat slowly at a pace of a deep sleep.

And you relax.

Focus with each breath as you lay there.

Tiny balls of light are gathering in the room above you.

Bright,

Yellow,

Warm light.

And the more you relax,

The more they gather.

And they float above you.

And the more they gather,

The closer they float towards you.

Slow your breathing.

Slow your heart.

See only the yellow,

Small balls of light.

Your slow breathing,

Your relaxation has filled the room.

Fill the room with yellow balls of light.

They form a blanket three inches above your resting body.

You can feel the warmth of the yellow glow on your skin.

You can feel the hum of the relaxation as it hovers above your body.

As I count backwards from five,

You can feel the warmth of the yellow glow.

And when I get to one,

The yellow glow will rest upon your body like a heavy,

Weighted,

Warm,

Yellow blanket.

And you'll feel your body sink into the surface below you with the yellow blanket.

Five.

Slow your breathing.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And you feel the heavy,

Warm,

Yellow glow of the blanket sink through your body to the surface below you.

And your body is heavy and relaxed and warm and calm.

Feel your deep,

Slow inhale.

Feel your deep,

Slow exhale.

When you gain focus of your mind,

You gain focus of your world.

When you slow your mind,

Focus,

By definition,

Is a central vision,

A single vision.

You breathe slow.

You feel the heavy blanket.

You hear your slow inhale.

You hear your slow exhale.

And as you breathe,

All motion in your mind,

All activities of your memories become quiet,

Become still.

As you lay under the heavy,

Yellow blanket,

Very warm,

Very relaxed,

At one with the surface that you're laying on,

Slower and slower breathing,

Slower and slower heart rate,

Your mind notices in the room you're in,

There are two windows.

The windows are next to each other.

And in your mind's eye,

You pull the shades down in the windows,

Revealing only a small sliver of light between the two windows in the middle.

Notice how dark the room is,

Except for the sliver,

The outline of the shades.

Notice the peace.

Be aware of the side on the left of the sliver.

That's your inhale.

Focus on the left side as you inhale.

And as you exhale,

Focus on the right side and relax.

The small sliver of light is the moment between your inhale and your exhale.

That's what your mind can see right now.

That moment is the true essence of you.

That's where focus lives.

The moment between your inhale and your exhale.

There's no memories.

There's no pressure.

There's no fear.

There's no judgment.

As you inhale on the left and you exhale on the right,

You focus in the middle on that little sliver of light.

In your mind,

Your body,

Heavy below the yellow blanket,

Begins to float out of the blanket and towards the light.

Warm and peaceful,

Quiet,

Filled with joy.

As you pass between the shades,

Through the light,

Your mind is filled with light,

Your body is surrounded with light.

You relax.

You can see the bright white light.

You can feel the light upon your skin.

It feels like a smile has filled your whole body.

It feels like joy and peace.

In your mind,

You turn back.

All you see is white that surrounds you,

Except for that sliver.

That sliver shows the yellow glow of the blanket that warms you.

You feel the smile within.

You feel your body float back to the yellow glow.

You step through the sliver back to the dark,

Peaceful room where you lay.

You turn to see the sliver of light surrounded by the shades and your body rests,

Sinking back under the yellow heavy blanket where you relax.

You've transcended thoughts and memories and created the clear vision of the moment between your inhale and your exhale.

You've created a vision of peace and tranquility,

Of joy and control over self and control over your surroundings.

Lay peacefully now in your vision with a relaxed mind,

A relaxed heart,

And a relaxed spirit.
