In this course i provide an understanding of how you can teach your emotional system anything you want through controlling what you give your attention and energy to in the moment. I will also explain why it is necessary to give up control of your inner experience to gain a control of your life and emotional system over time. Why the goal is not to feel better in the moment, but to live better and begin a fundamental transformation of your unconscious emotional system. In order to be able to do this we will dive deep into perspectives, beliefs and misconceptions that can keep you trapped. Giving your life energy away to worry or other dysfunctional behaviors. Foundational change is possible but requires awareness of liberating perspectives, subtle details in how your unconscious brain learns from your attention and courage to release your inner experiences.


Meet your Teacher

Peter is a clinical psychologist with many years of experience. He is now sharing perspectives and insights from many years of study and clinical work in order to empower you to live more in line with your values and transform your emotional system over time. Combining insights from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy( CBT), MetaCognitive Therapy (MCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Dezentisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) together with a rich experience of meditation and inner work.

But when allowed to move freely it starts to learn new things and extraordinary change is possible. We also explore why knowing is not enough and how you can be the change.

Common Misbeliefs About Your Emotions

We investigate if worrying is positive. If strong emotions are dangerous. And if worry is uncontrollable. We also outline other dysfunctional behaviors that are common to use in order to avoid certain inner experiences.

Lesson 4

How To Do It

In this lesson we practice being in contact with our freedom while exploring the necessary perspectives to grasp your potential. During this lecture there are some exercises that work best if you are in a calm environment where you can close your eyes.

Lesson 5

Why You Don't Need Emotion Regulation

This lesson focus on misconceptions about regulating our emotions and explore a way of releasing our inner experiences. We focus on why regulation is not needed (and can be counterproductive in the long run) and what to focus on instead. You will also get to know why how you feel in the moment is not a good way to measure if you are doing it right or living in the way you want. And why even difficult or self-critical inner experiences are trying to protect you in some way.

Lesson 6

This Is Not A New Way To Fight

We dive into the details of why you don't have to struggle to relax or think positively. Why you actually don't have to care that much about your emotions and thoughts as you might believe. It might sound strange if you are facing debilitating emotions but there is a logic behind it. I am not trying to make you feel better in the moment but to make you live better and by that transform your emotional system.

This lesson is a summary of what has been covered and an attempt to help you put it all together in a coherent framework that is actionable in this very moment.
