Welcome to Healing the Heart meditation.

In this guided meditation we're going to focus on the love in our hearts to heal any physical or emotional pain we may be experiencing.

Through practicing this meditation it will allow you to bring more love into your life and experience a more joyful existence.

Healing occurs a little bit like the layers of an onion.

When we release one layer there are other layers beneath that and these other layers will be triggered to release at the appropriate time.

This meditation is quite a powerful one and it's important to focus on one layer at a time otherwise the healing can become quite intense and uncomfortable.

So let's begin.

Find a nice comfortable position either sitting up with your feet on the floor or laying on your bed if that's what you prefer.

Now take a deep breath in and on the exhale feel your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw soften and your forehead relax.

Allow your eyes to softly close and begin to bring awareness into your body.

Take another slow deep breath in and exhale gently.

One more time slow deep breath in and gently exhale.

Now bring your awareness to your heart.

As you breathe in and out visualize the petals of your heart chakra gradually opening.

You may feel or even sense your heart chakra opening.

Feel your heart filling with light and love as strongly as you can.

Allow the love to heal your heart of any past hurts.

If you have any pain or dis-ease in your body visualize this love traveling to the area to heal it completely.

Visualize this part of your body healing now.

Visualize this love expanding out from your heart and permeating every cell of your being.

A feeling of love and peace washes over you.

You may feel some emotions rising to the surface just know this is completely natural.

Be an observer and allow the emotions to surface and release.

Emotions surface and you release them and continue like that for the next minute or so.

Observe and allow the emotions to surface and release.

Remember to breathe and allow the emotions to subside.

Your body is filling with light and love and healing all aspects of your being.

Simply allow yourself to be and enjoy the healing.

As you breathe in allow the emotions and then allow them to subside.

Continue to visualize this love and light expanding out from your heart and permeating every part of your body,

Every cell of your being.

I'm going to repeat some affirmations next to assist with the healing process.

So in your mind repeat the following affirmations.

My body,

My mind and my spirit are healing now.

My body,

My mind and my spirit are healing now.

Any past pain or upsets are being released now.

Any past pain or upsets are being released now.

My body is returning to full health and the blueprint of perfection.

My body is returning to full health and the blueprint of perfection.

It is now time to release the past and embrace the present.

It is now time to release the past and embrace the present.

The power of love is healing me now on all levels of my being.

The power of love is healing me now on all levels of my being.

I am now healed and grateful for this healing.

I am now healed and grateful for this healing.

As we bring this practice to a close visualize the light sealing your aura and returning your heart chakra to its normal state and take this moment to acknowledge yourself for creating this space,

This time,

Having the intention of doing this for your own health and for your own well-being.

This is an act of self-love and meditation is a tool for reawakening and finding your space again beyond all the noise of the world.

So acknowledge and honor yourself for taking this time.

Thank yourself for sitting.

Thank yourself for being here and just allow awareness to rest in the body as a whole,

Sensing into the body as it is,

Being just as you are,

Remembering that when we meditate we transcend the energy of this world and step into a place of love.

When you're ready gently bring your awareness back to the room.

Give your fingers and toes a wiggle and open your eyes.

As you go about your day trust that beneath the rise and fall of human emotions,

Beneath the turbulence of a world in flux,

All is well.
