Lao Tzu once said,

Before we believe the life of our dreams is possible,
We must first have an idea of what it looks like.
So today's practice is a guided visualization to help you create a life that you love,
And to then take the steps to fulfillment and satisfaction.
The practice will give you an opportunity to design your dream life and clarify your values.
You'll begin to develop positive habits and live intentionally,
Connecting with your authentic higher self and letting go of resistance.
So,
Let's begin by closing your eyes and settling into a comfortable position,
Making any adjustments to your body.
Take a long,
Deep breath in,
Letting enjoy.
And breathe out,
Letting go of stress.
Again,
Breathe in and release.
One more deep breath in,
Breathing in peace and serenity.
Exhale,
Tension and stress.
Now I invite you to open your mind and your heart to the possibilities of a life of your dreams.
Let go of all tension and holding in your physical body.
So we can let go of holding on to expectations,
Judgments,
Or being attached to specific outcomes in your mind.
When your body is relaxed,
You make space for possibilities to arise.
You can connect more easily with your authentic self.
Bring your awareness now to the automatic process of your breath.
While noticing your breath,
Begin to look inside yourself for anywhere you can let go of the tendency to hold on.
Let the weight of gravity sink into your body to deepen your relaxation.
Allow relaxation into your body and peace into your mind.
Now connect to your heart and invite the version of your wisest,
Truest self to come to the surface.
As your truest,
Highest self surfaces,
I'll guide you to relax even more deeply.
Begin to breathe intentionally,
More fully and count your breath.
Your inhale is one and your exhale is two.
Stay with your breath count and allow your mind to be calm.
Breathe in one,
Exhale two.
Breathe in one,
Exhale two.
Allow your breath to relax to its natural rhythm and let go of the counting.
Relax the muscles in your face and in your jaw,
Letting go of all tightness,
All tension in these muscles.
Now completely relax the muscles of your neck.
Feel your neck so soft,
So relaxed as you go deeper and deeper into a beautiful state of peace and calm.
Now completely relax the muscles of your shoulders.
Let your shoulders completely relax.
Now relax the muscles of your back,
Both the upper back and the lower back,
Letting go of all tension.
Allow yourself to go even deeper.
Allow any thoughts to come and go without dwelling on them.
Next,
Completely relax the muscles of your arms.
Moving down now to completely relax the muscles of your legs and toes so that your whole body is now going deeper and deeper into a beautiful state of peace and calm and serenity,
Knowing that this state is so healthy for you,
For your body,
For your mind.
Let go of all your stresses and tensions to find that inner peace.
Go within.
And so you can let yourself go even deeper now.
And as you stay in this beautiful state of peace and calm,
Of relaxation,
Of tranquility,
As you find the peace all around you and within you,
Know that you have the ability to let go of stress and tension.
You have the ability to relax.
Whenever you want,
Whenever you need,
Just by focusing on these muscles,
Allowing them to completely relax.
By following your breath,
Breathing out stresses and tension,
Breathing in beautiful energy,
And going deeper and deeper into this beautiful state of peace,
Calm and tranquility.
Know that you always have this power,
This ability to control your breathing whenever you need to,
Whenever you want to,
To go within and break the cycle of stress and tension before it even begins.
I'll now guide you through a visualization.
This practice isn't about perfection.
Things may not feel aligned with the life of your dreams right now,
And that's okay.
Simply work with what you have and begin to move towards what you want.
As you imagine your dream life,
You may see vivid pictures or hear sounds in your mind,
Or you may experience emotions arising within you.
Connect with whatever comes up for you today and open your awareness to possibilities as they arise in the future.
Ask your higher,
Authentic self for a crystal clear vision of your dream life.
Now,
Begin to visualize your ideal life.
See with as much detail as is available to you.
How does your future life look?
What are you doing?
What are you feeling in this ideal life?
Who are you spending your time with?
If you knew for sure that you could not fail,
What would your ideal self look like?
Now see what your typical day looks like in vivid detail.
Experience this reality through all of your senses.
You can see,
You can feel,
You can hear,
You can smell,
And you can taste it.
What does your typical day look like?
What feelings and emotions do you want to have more of in your life?
What are the values and beliefs that are important to you?
All it takes is a thought to make a change.
You can change your life the moment you decide to change.
Choose to live life how you want it.
You are not the sum of your circumstances,
You are the sum of your choices.
Choose to live in alignment with what is truly important to you.
These feelings from your dream life are already within you.
You can choose to call upon these feelings at any time.
You can create the life you want.
Your dreams are within your grasp when you choose to reach out.
Connect with what is showing up for you now and breathe that in.
As you connect with your authentic self,
The self that is deep within you,
You can make choices that will align your life with what's most important to you.
When you intentionally choose more of what feels good and less of what doesn't,
Situations,
Experiences and life events will feel right and offer you more joy.
You experience a sense of flow in your life.

You're cleansed,
You're energized and imbued with the qualities that are necessary to fulfill your heart's desires.
Now stay with this visualization of your dream life a little longer.

Invite in a deep cleansing breath,
Filling up with the possibilities of now.
Breathe out fully,
Letting go of old habits and negative beliefs.

Know that aligning your life and your decisions with your authentic self is a big part of creating your dream life.
When your life is aligned with who you are deep down inside,
You let go of resistance and invite in the ease and flow of life's energy.
