Hi everyone.
Connecting with nature and the Earth has a profound effect on our mental,
Physical and spiritual health.
It is not always as easy as we would like to get out into nature undisturbed,
So I hope that this guided meditation can be a stop-gap between your outdoor excursions.
If you have any favorite found items from previous nature walks,
You might wish to surround yourself with them,
Or perhaps light an oil burner with a pine or fur essential oil.
But this is not necessary.
Begin to comfortable meditative position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes and begin to notice your breath.
Your inhale and your exhale.
Feeling them deepen and gentle as you relax.
Slowly open your mind's eye.
As it comes into focus,
You find that you're bathed in soft green light.
Sunlight dapples across your face through the breeze-blown canopy of forest trees overhead.
You find yourself sitting in a ring of blue-spotted mushrooms.
You inhale deeply,
Taking in the fresh forest scents,
And exhale slowly,
Feeling all the tension that you've been carrying melt away from your body.
Looking around,
You notice a dirt path winding through the majestic trees.
You remove your shoes and socks and begin to walk the path,
Curious where it leads.
The cool earth on your feet soothes you.
White and purple wildflowers gently sway at either side of the path,
And the odd squirrel rustles through the dead leaves clustered along the forest floor.
You notice the bird chirps as it flies from tree to tree.
This forest is so alive.
You inhale deeply again,
Taking in its restoring energy.
As you continue to walk,
The trail begins winding up a hill.
Long gnarled tree roots cascade down the slope as their branches reach up high into the sky with deep azure.
Bringing your gaze back to ground level,
You notice the trees have formed columns along the path,
Their upper branches reaching towards each other,
Forming a cathedral-like roof.
Soon,
The dirt walkway becomes a stone path,
And you notice the slabs are carved in ancient symbols.
They lead to a large round-shaped stone gateway.
Stepping through the gateway,
You know you are entering hallowed space.
It opens up into a clearing high atop the hill and is ringed in holy trees.
The altar of prophecy,
The apple of healing,
Ash of courage,
Birch of new beginnings,
Blackberry of bounty and harvest,
The black thorn of magical skill,
Broom of independence,
The fairy tree of elder,
The chorus of power and renewal,
Hazel of inspiration,
Hawthorn of transformation,
Heather of good fortune,
The holly of persistence,
Ivy of connection and relationship,
The great and mighty oak,
The Scots pine of quiet wisdom,
White poplar of communication,
Roan of protection,
Willow of ballads,
And the yin of perseverance and patience.
At the center of the sacred trees is a heart stone.
Feeling an immediate connection,
You go and sit beside it,
Placing one hand upon it and the other over your own chest,
Creating a link between your heart and the great heart of Mother Earth.
You hear her voice.
It is a profound whisper.
The wind in the trees becomes the collective voice of the universe.
All wisdom can be heard here.
It speaks to your very soul.
You listen for time.
Youtub Yeah You begin to feel restored mentally,
Physically,
Emotionally,
And spiritually.
You rest a while longer held in the comforting calm of the Great Mother.

And spiritually.
Now feeling refreshed,
You know it's time to go.
You take comfort in the fact that now that you know the path,
You can come back at any time.
Standing,
You bow to the Great Heart of the Mother Earth and the sacred trees.
Then you head back down the path through the Cathedral Archway to the Forest Below and the waiting ring of mushrooms.
Settling into the circle,
You begin to notice your breath again,
Your inhale and your exhale.
You notice that they're slower and deeper now since your profound experience in the Grove.
You wiggle your fingers and toes,
Knowing that you will carry the serenity with you into your day.
And you open your eyes,
Knowing that you may visit again as often as you wish.
We love inspiration and bright blessings follow you into your day.
God bless.
