Hi everyone.
Life is a continual state of moving in and out of balance.
Balancing our emotions are often the key thing we can control to bring balance and equanimity back into our lives so that we can live more harmoniously with ourselves and others.
This is a guided meditation to help us do that.
So find a comfortable position.
You may lay down or take a seated meditation position and close your eyes or simply let them go out of focus.
Feel where your body makes contact with the floor.
Notice how the ground is supporting you and be aware of your breath.
Your in breath and your out breath.
You do not need to change your breath in any way.
Just breathe in and out and let all the tension drain away from your body.
Notice if you're holding on to any tension in your temples,
Behind your eyes or in your jaw.
Let your whole face relax.
Notice if you're holding any tension in your neck or shoulders.
Just breathe into it and let the tension melt away and let your shoulders drop.
Notice if your chest is tight and if your breathing is shallow.
Try to make your breath fuller and more relaxed.
Letting any tension go from your chest.
Let your arms relax and if you're holding any tension in your hands,
Let them soften and relax.
If you have any tension or knots of worry in your stomach,
Just breathe into them and let them go.
Let your thighs relax and your calves and your feet.
Let yourself feel as if you're melting into the floor.
Let all your tension melt away into the ground.
Now I want you to take a minute and think about how you've been spending your time lately.
I want you to ask yourself,
Where am I at in my life right now?
What is imbalance?
What is out of balance?
Are there any changes that you would like to make in your life?
Any changes that you would like to make in your life?
Do not feel overwhelmed,
Dear one.
You hold all the answers within yourself.
You are capable of creating the balance and the harmony that you so richly deserve in this life.
I want you to slowly bring your attention back to your breath,
Your inhalation and your exhalation.
And slowly bring your attention back to the room.
The sounds you may hear,
Feel the temperature of the air on your skin.
You can wiggle your fingers and toes and stretch and open your eyes if you haven't already.
I'm sending you my love and light.
Namaste.
