In order to live in alignment with the present moment,

You must discover how to go beyond thought and enter a state of oneness,

A truth that can only really be experienced through your heart.

The mind can be noisy,

Like a highway of thoughts,

Constantly busy with an influx of redundant thought cycles.

Staying only in the realm of the mind will limit your awareness and suppress your potential.

Three great catalysts that help cultivate inner presence are your breath,

Your body,

And space.

Gently close your eyes and take a few moments to get comfortable in your position.

Monitor your attention.

There is your attention right now.

Bring your attention to your breath.

Simply observe your breath.

Effortlessly witness the airflow in and out of your body.

Kelsey J happened to talk to me now about physical simple signs of awareness.

And she told me this took an areal way to continue.

It was the same position is she said.

Feel your thoughts dissolve as you immerse yourself in your breath.

With each breath,

You can feel your body drifting away.

Now feel your body.

Surrender the energy from your mind into the body's system of feeling.

Just feel without thought.

Hold onto your now clear mind,

And remember your breath.

Feel your whole body.

Sense the aliveness in your being and hold your attention in this sensation.

Outstanding—one of the most powerful exercises I have come across so far on IT. The instructions are deceptively simple on the surface but quite challenging (in a good way) to carry out. (Note: The long pauses between individual instructions may seem unnecessary or distracting at first, but if you stick with it they will make perfect sense in time.) Headphones not essential but highly recommended. There’s a subtle but effective (binaural?) tone in the background.
