This is Julie Scahn and I'm going to guide you through a breathing technique and calming ritual that I call Zen in 10.
This one minute meditation is used to get rid of any feelings of anxiety or stress and to get your mind and body calm and centered throughout the day.
To begin,
Please get comfortable in a seated position and close your eyes.
Together let's take one big breath in and let it all out.
Now please allow your breath and your mind to follow along with my counting.
Let's inhale one,
Exhale two,
One.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three.
Exhale four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Exhale six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale slowly,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Exhale eight,
Seven,
Six,

One.
Inhale one,
