As a certified MBSR mindfulness trainer and meditation teacher, she has been offering Silent Meditation Retreats, Silent Walking Retreats, and MBSR mindfulness training for over 10 years. Nowadays, she offers these Silent Meditation Retreats and Silent Walking Retreats amidst the stunning natural beauty of Spain. She works with joy, creating a safe and warm environment for her students. Ellen's meditation journey began 25 years ago with low-budget travels to remote areas of India. Immersed in the simplicity, profound spiritual connection, and the raw beauty and chaos of life, she was deeply moved. It was on a meditation cushion during her first 10-day Vipassana retreat in a Tibetan monastery that she experienced a profound sense of peace and knowing. Ellen's commitment to meditation has continued ever since. She has studied Buddhism, sat many silent retreats, often under the guidance of Christopher Titmuss, and trained as an MBSR Mindfulness teacher. Since 2014, she has been sharing her experience through retreats, mindfulness trainings, and spiritual journeys to India. Working with hundreds of people has given Ellen a deeper understanding of the workings of the mind and the challenges of our fast-paced, goal-oriented society.
