Welcome to your break time meditation.
This meditation is for you if you just want to take a break in your day.
It could even be in the morning or the evening.
Just any time you want to regroup,
Recalibrate,
Just take a moment so you can go ahead and get comfortable.
Go ahead and then close your eyes.
We're going to take some grounding breaths starting with a deep breath in and out.
And in and out.
One last big breath in and out.
Right now,
I don't want you to think about anything going on in your day because this is a break.
This is a time to just breathe and relax.
So I want you to just keep your normal breath and just try to acknowledge any thoughts that are coming through to you.
And then try to also tell yourself that right now you don't have to think about whatever that thought is leading you to think about.
Right now is just a time to relax.
So again,
You're probably going to have thoughts that are trying to come through.
And just keep acknowledging that.
And then telling yourself right now is not the time.
Just keep that normal breath.
This is a time for you to just take a beat.
You don't need to be anywhere in this short period of time.
You don't need to be doing anything.
This is just time for you.
And by taking this time in your day,
Taking a little break,
You're going to be more likely to be in the right mindset to get back into your day and finish whatever it is that you need to finish.
But you don't need to think about that right now.
You just need to continue relaxing,
Focusing on your breath.
Just think about what a good thing you're doing right now for yourself.
Don't think about anything again that you're getting away from.
Just think about how nice and good this is for you to give yourself this time to step away and to breathe.
This is self care.
And again,
By participating in taking breaks and getting your mindset right,
You're going to get back to your day even better than how you started.
So just keep focusing on your breathing and just thinking about how good this is that you're taking this time for yourself.
Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that things like this are okay.
It's okay to take me time.
It's okay to do things for ourselves,
Not for others or employers or whoever it is that we're doing things for.
Sometimes we just need to do things for ourselves and then we can show up better for others or employers or whoever it is that we need to show up for.
So we're coming close to the end of this short little break.
We're going to start ending it by taking a couple deep breaths.
We're going to take a deep breath in and out and in and out.
And one more big breath in and out.
