Have you recently experienced a loss that left you feeling unsettled or adrift?

Are you searching for a moment of calm to help you navigate life's storms?

What if you could release tension and find peace in just five minutes?

Ready to reconnect with your inner strength and embrace the possibility of healing?

Dear friends,

Welcome to Simply Yoga with Nathalie.

This channel is for all the busy bees of this world who would like to slow down and rediscover their inner strength.

My name is Nathalie Chaulan and I am a yogi and a scientist.

Let's discover together our inner power.

Take a moment to find a comfortable seat,

Whether you're sitting on a chair,

A cushion,

Or even the ground.

Imagine yourself leaning against a strong,

Steady tree,

Surrounded by the soft whispers of fallen leaves.

Let this image bring you a sense of safety and connection.

Now,

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and a slow breath out.

Once more,

Inhale deeply and exhale fully.

Feel the weight of your body resting on the earth,

Supported and grounded,

Just like the roots of the tree that withstand every storm.

Life sometimes stirs up storms.

We experience loss,

Loss of a friend,

A relationship,

A job,

Or even something intangible,

Like a sense of certainty or control.

These losses can leave us feeling unrooted,

Like leaves scattered by the wind.

But there,

In this moment,

Here,

You have everything you need to begin recovering peace.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Without changing it,

Simply notice its natural rhythm.

Each inhale is like a wave gently washing ashore,

And each exhale is the wave retreating back to the ocean.

As you breathe,

Imagine that each exhale carries away the tension,

Sadness,

Or worry that might be lingering within you.

Loss can feel like emptiness or disruption,

But it can also be an invitation,

An invitation to soften,

To pause,

And to reflect.

With every inhale,

Invite a sense of spaciousness into your heart.

With every exhale,

Release the need to resist or control what has already passed.

Now,

Bring to mind the image of the tree you are sitting beside.

Through every storm,

This tree stands tall.

It loses its leaves in the autumn,

But it does not fight the change.

It allows the leaves to fall,

Trusting that spring will come again.

In the same way,

Trust that what you have lost may make space for something new to grow.

Silently repeat to yourself,

I am rooted.

I am steady.

I am open to what comes next.

Silently repeat to yourself,

I am rooted.

I am steady.

I am open to what comes next.

Loss can feel like a closing,

But peace is found when we gently open.

Open to our breath.

Open to the present moment.

Open to the possibility of healing.

Imagine that within you,

There is a calm center.

A place untouched by any storm.

Like the trunk of the tree,

It is unshaken,

Grounded in the here and now.

Let's take a moment to express gratitude,

Not for the loss itself,

But for the strength and wisdom that loss can uncover.

Whisper a quiet thank you to yourself for showing up,

For choosing peace in this moment.

Before we close,

Take a deep breath in.

Filling your body with a sense of calm and exhale.

Letting it all settle.

Place your hands over your heart,

If that feels comfortable.

And know that peace is always within you,

Waiting to be reclaimed.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of calm with you into the rest of your day.

Let's bring a little more love into our everyday life,

Little by little.

I am Nathalie,

And I wish you a beautiful inner journey.
